Have any of you ever bought those little herbal packs that you can microwave and use them to help clear your sinuses, to ease muscle pain or to relax? I have had 2 different kinds before. Both bought at arts & crafts' shows. And I LOVED them!
I didn't get out much to the ol' arts & crafts show this year so I decided that I was going to try and make some. My good buddy, Candace, and I drove to the next town over to hit one health food store for the essential oils and then another store for the dried herbs. Let me just say - we just happened to get the rudest salespeople at both of them. We left thinking that they needed to take some herbs and get over their grouchiness.
We also hit the Hobby Lobby looking for Floam for my niece. I can remember seeing it in stores before, but we had to look in numberous stores before I could find any. I hope she really likes the Floam!
Anyway... if you are still hunting for a child's gift, I was surprised at the neat selection of educational type activity kits that Hobby Lobby had. They had this "Dig up ancient coins" set similar to one from Vision Forums for half of the price. It's not real coins, they are replicas, but pretty interesting none the less!
They also had a neat magnet set, the frog habitat kind of thing, some robotic type things, etc... Just lots of neat stuff. (Of course I don't get out often, so sometimes I'm easily impressed!) And they had a good sale going. And if you plan to go, you should go to their website and see if they have a good online coupon. The cashier said that this week it is "Take 40% off of any regular price item".
