It's pretty nice. You can see the photo at the top. The only problem is that I am having the WORST time trying to work with satellite internet. I thought that my internet woes would be solved when we switched to another company, but alas, it has only led to more frustration.

Apparently I use WAY more than the "average" users that satellite companies like.

I'm not sure what to do. I spent the past week and part of this weekend driving back and forth to town so I could work online. I am NOT a happy farm woman.

Sometimes living 20 minutes out of town is rough.

sigh...

(I'll cheer up soon enough I'm sure, but all of this stress is wreaking havoc on my fibro right now. Thanks for bearing with me. )

I'm sorry Nancy. I can't imagine how frustrating this all is - hope you are feeling better soon.
ps. If there's any change I can make to minimize the problem let me know - like not sending you work related emails unless you absolutely need to see them, etc.

we also have to deal with the satellite internet issues and I have to always fight the 'fair use' policy. Maybe they should provide us with more use and not try to sell to more people than they can handle with their satellites!

It's so beautiful...but we do understand internet issues...hey, I just wanted to take a sec and tell you how much I enjoy the Homeschool Minute and the writers you have with you...THANK YOU for ALL you do for us...sometimes it's that much needed encouragement that shows up in our boxes that helps us to go onward and upward...May your internet issues get solved so you don't have to leave and...But hey, as you are doing down the drive..CATCH the VIEW for ME, will ya?

Wow. That's horrible to have to drive into town everyday for internet. I hope you are able to get something solved soon. I miss hearing from you, too!
It does look like, barring any emergencies, that I will be in town that week of Oct. So, if you can find out your schedule, I'd love to meet up with you and Heidi. I know she won't have a car, so I can come up there, or however it works best for you all. That's so exciting!!

Hi. I just wanted to see if you know about the newest drug for fibro? I have two friends that are taking it and it seems to help a lot. Have you tried it? I'm sorry I don't know the name of it but I can find out if you'd like.

While the farm is indeed beautiful, no internet... no bueno!

LOL We don't live on a farm and it still takes us at least 20 minutes to get to the grocery store!
