1. for God's grace. Those new mercies everyday mean so much to me.
2. that God is so gentle with me. He gently guides me and redirects when He needs to. He waits patiently for me and rejoices with me. He never lets me down.
3. for a wonderful husband. He loves me and is committed to our marriage. He works hard to provide so that I can be at home with the boys. He has a great sense of humor and is able to keep us laughing. He believes in me and is supportive.
4. for 3 wonderful boys. They are each a perfect puzzle piece that completes our family. They are all 3 different and I learn from each of them. They truly make me want to be a better person.
5. for dear sisters-in-Christ. God has abundantly given me dear sisters who help me along the way. We can have a lot of fun, we can support each other and we can encourage each other through the tough times. Growing up, I always wished I had a family full of siblings and now I realize that God gave them to me as the dear sisters.
6. for those who planted seeds in my life. The ones who taught me scripture as a child. Took the time to explain God's ways to me. Allowed me to see into their family life. Talked to me about homeschooling. Shared with us about home church. Those who shared with me about country living, organics and health. There is so much more.
7. for our wonderful little farm. It brings inspiration to my life and helps me to see God's work in our lives.
8. for getting the opportunity to write. It was something I always wanted to do as I was growing up, but I just seemed to lose that dream in the process of "real life". For God to have brought these opportunities to me is a wonderful reminder of my Heavenly Father who created me as that little girl who wanted to write.
9. for my local support group and co-op. Gathering together with the other families is such an encouragement to me. As I see the children older than mine, I have an insight to the future and then the newbies come along and help us all to keep our excitement.
10. for The Old Schoolhouse and HomeSchoolBlogger. First I fell in love with the magazine. Then I got involved with Homeschool Nation. Then they introduced me to Homeschool Blogger. I have enjoyed reading and meeting other homeschool moms through the blogs. The other moms have so many great ideas and talents that I can benefit from. They encourage me and make me laugh. They help me to recognize the value of being a homeschooling mom. I'm so glad to be here. |
