May. 9, 2007 - We are almost done!!!!........are we?

It is so wonderful to wake up and not freeze!!!!!!!!!............the kids wake up all snuggly and with big smiles.....they want to go outside sooooooo bad.......I let them........then we do our littel bit of school in the afternoon when it get warmer out..........I love this time of year............clothes line is full of clothes, widows open..........NO ONE IS SICK!!!!..........LOrd thank you for a fresh and new beginning.

I have not been blogging....been very busy with my grandparents who have been very sick..........getting better though.........HSing ....well trying to.....being a wife........feel like i am doing a very good job..........but Standing firm in the word..........sorry for not being on ......but life is so busy right now.....I will hop in once in a while

Apr. 2, 2007 - Castles,Comedy and Who dun it

Well , I have been asked to be encharge of the castle back drop for our kids ministry at church ( this some thing that I love doing) So my mind is racing, like paint and stencils and sheilds and swords...it is a midevil theme....... Mar. 26, 2007 - Wonderful weekend with friends

My family and I went to the Adirondacks Mtns. for the weekend........we stayed in a beautiful house right on Sagendoga Lake.......fire place, loft and still alot of snow outside........the kids played pool , sleighride, and just pretended a whole lot.........Tom and I enjoyed company ...ate good food ,played some new games ( love new ones)and just relaxed...........this was our ver first vaction together at Husband and wife , we have been married for 10yrs and we just have never had the money or time....it was so refreshing.....I am tired but in a good way....I feel peaceful and I am looking forward to doing this again next year.

Mar. 21, 2007 - I neeeeed Coffee

Coffee has been on eof those things that I have had every morning since I was 13yrs old...........I really love the taste .....it makes me feel like I am getting a warm hug in the morning.....sounds weird I know.......this morning I am sitting here sipping a great cup of coffee the house is quiet ..at the moment......and I am looking forward to this day.........God is so good to give us a fresh start everyday........thank you Lord!!!

Mar. 20, 2007 - Good Morning..to all!!!!

A good cup of coffee............a prayer with my husband........smiles from the kids make a day so wonderful.

Yesterday, I was so tired..but like I said we got alot done..bekah has done another mini book for the fifty states......and chris........is doing the solar system......... they both are very excited about there work........and that makes me happy.

Bekah is calling me to help with math so, Tah tah for now.........

I don't know about you but when I have had a busy weekend....monday is such a struggle at times........now Ifinished all the school work and have done all my chores and things...but I feel like I could take a nap.....maybe I should..........Does anyone else feel that way?

Mar. 17, 2007 - Early morning snow and quiet times

It is beautiful outside we must have about 1 1/2 ft of snow.......I woke up at 5am it was dark and very quiet in the house........I just could nopt sleep any more.......then aboput 1/2hr later Beka.....my 8yr old came out and joined me........It was just her and I all morning.......some times the quiet things  are the precious things in life!!!

Mar. 16, 2007 - Lapbooking........I think?

Ok, I really don't know what I am doing but I am going to try to tell you what I think is called Lapbooking.......I have read for about 2 yrs now many articals on lapbooking...wishing I could figure it out , and because of my perfectionism I never did it. I am a hands on learner myself....some one show me how it is done ..I can generally do it.

Yesterday I decided, enough is enough, just do it!!!!!

Well , Bekah (8yrs) and I sat down.and she made her first mini book about the state of  Maine!!!!..........it has a picture on one side and then a sentence on ther other side........and that is it.......just a few important things about the state of Maine......That is all!!!!......she thought it was a blast.

I will see if i can put some picture up ........I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!

Mar. 15, 2007 - Rain Rain Go away ...la la la

I woke up this morning to rain ......yes it is better then snow.......however, we had such a beautiful day yesterday that is was a big tease.

The kids Bek and Chris asked if they could go outside.........I being mom say NO, and they both said that they wish it was like yesterday.

Living In NY is a very unpredictable place,as far as weather goes. So if spring comes early.........bring it ON!!!!.........But then again I am fooling myself...I just heard the weather and we are getting a Northeastern....up to 8 inches..........Ohwell, so much for an early spring

Mar. 14, 2007 - What a beautiful day!!! what a blessing

Today started off with coffee with my husband at about 6am. I love our quiet time together.  After we had our coffee the children woke up 1 by one . I love my kids .School started at about 8am and we finished at about 10:30. The sun was shining and the temp outside was in the 6o's.

So we went for a walk down the road ..it was about a mile or more ...my husband is working on a house that is about or even over 100 years old...fixing wide floor boards..it looks great.....anyway.....we surprised him........he drove us home we had lunch together and then he left for work.

I love it when he comes home.it was a wonderful day...windows open .......kids playing outside.........I made pumpkin bread ( if you would like it I can give you the recipe) .I guess over all it was a perfect day!!!

You are prob wonderfing why I am making a fuss...well we live in NY and it is usually cold.and today was just a Blessing!!!!

Mar. 12, 2007 - couph couph couph.....so tired

I have been couphing for days now .....only at night .I have tryed all over the counter drugs.

Does anyone have any thing that might work? I am very tired of couphing and also from not sleeping.....if there is any wisdom from any one I am willing to hear.

Mar. 6, 2007 - Rebekah feels better

with alot of prayer and love her throut is not hurting any more ....but I am sick

My nose is running, my glands are swollen, my ears hurt and I am coughing alot.....this is my 3rd time this winter being sick......I hate it. I am still able to do school with the kids.....but it is hard to talk and read. I can't wait for spring!!!!

Mar. 5, 2007 - It's my Birthday

Today is my birthday ...I am 39 the kids have made a cake and have given me there cards......my 6 year olds card said Mom 93...he met 39 ....but I thought it was very cute......My sister and her teens are coming over for lunch and we will have good talk with great coffee.........nothing beats that..........well I need to get back to school.
