Mar. 16, 2007 - Lapbooking........I think?
Ok, I really don't know what I am doing but I am going to try to tell you what I think is called Lapbooking.......I have read for about 2 yrs now many articals on lapbooking...wishing I could figure it out , and because of my perfectionism I never did it. I am a hands on learner myself....some one show me how it is done ..I can generally do it.
Yesterday I decided, enough is enough, just do it!!!!!
Well , Bekah (8yrs) and I sat down.and she made her first mini book about the state of Maine!!!!..........it has a picture on one side and then a sentence on ther other side........and that is it.......just a few important things about the state of Maine......That is all!!!!......she thought it was a blast.
I will see if i can put some picture up ........I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!

We are excited about lapbooking too. We have one on horses that I am plan to start soon. My daughters love horses. They just look like so much fun.

I forgot to encourage you and your husband about Financial Peace University. The 13 week course really will change you life when it comes to your finances. My husband and I were "normal" our fist several years of marriage. We lived paycheck to paycheck like most people and bought things we could not afford. Now we are "abnormal" and it brings so much peace. Our hot water heater went out a couple weeks ago and we were actually a little bit excited because we got to go pay cash for an emergency!

I've been thinking about lapbooking as well...but like you I haven't really understood how to do it - and the Knowledge Box kits are so expensive - that I haven't tried it yet. I bought a few folders, but they are sitting, waiting for me to find the time to cut something out to stick on them. I think Bekah did a beautiful job. Thanks for stopping by the other day.
