Mike Huckabee
Okay, my family isn't a big politic fan, but this year is different. This year we're fighting to get God back into our nation. There's only one guy who can get it done, and it's Mike Huckabee. Just listening to him quote Scripture in any debate or rally gets your blood pumping. He's so on fire for God that it's almost unreal. He doesn't have the big names to back him up like the other candidates do, and he doesn't have the money either. But here's one thing that he has: prayers. Thousands of Christians and home-schoolers are backing this guy up, and we may be his only chance. It may be America's only chance at a tue Freedom.
I strongly encourage you if you're old enough to vote, vote for Mike Huckabee, America's only chance at turning back to her Creator. The voting that is going on right now DOES matter! If you're not old enough to vote, here's something I want you to do: Pray! Pray, pray, pray! Prayers are just as equal as votes, maybe even more so...(but that doesn't mean you stay home and pray instead of vote! ^_^) I challenge you to pray every day until the presidential election. Pray that God will give America a second chance to turn her face to Him! Mike Huckabee is America's only hope...any other person and she's in the tank. Done. Doomed. Forsaken by God.
It matters not if you're a Democrat or a Republican, it matters only that we get God back in our government. It's getting God back in our schools. It's putting God where He rightfully deserves, where our founding fathers wanted Him to be: in the center of our government.
Like I said, Mike Huckabee is on fire for the Lord, and you can see it clearly. We went to one of his rallies (I'll get around to posting the pictures one of these days) and it was almost like you were listening to a preacher...well, DUH, Mike Huckabee WAS a preacher! Totally awesomeness! ^_^
So vote for Mike Huckabee (can't you tell he's got me all pumped up? ^_^)! Tell your friends! Let's see a revival in America! But more importantly, PRAY for Mike Huckabee!
Here's his website: www.MikeHuckabee.com and remember...let's get God back where He should be!
Huck-a-bee! Huck-a-bee! Huck-a-bee! (just a little somethin' I've picked up after watchin' the rallies ^_^)
Our ancestors established their system of government on moralitly and religious sentiment...Whatever makes a man a good Christian also makes a good citizen. ~ Daniel Webster
Whilst sun and moon endure, America shall remain a city of refuge for the whole earth, until she herself shall play the tyrant, forget her destiny, disgrace her freedom, and provoke her God. ~ George Duffield
If God be for us, who can be against us? The enemy has reproached us for calling on His name and professing our trust in Him. They have made a mock of our solemn fasts and every appearence of serious Christianity in the land...May our land be purged from all its sins! Then the Lord will be our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble, and we will have no reason to be afraid, though tousands of enemies set themselves against us round about. ~ Reverand Samuel Lanagdon
We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and...from the rising to the setting sun, may His Kingdom come. ~Samuel Adams
I have 4 talkers! Thank you people!

Hiya! Long time no "see".
Anyway, Huckabee is from my home state.
I don't know his stance on most part of politics, or how his professed beliefs will influence the way he governs. I do know that his stances on education have been detrimental to our state's kids (I was in public school when he was making a bunch of changes - before "No Child Left Behind" was on the scene) and that his policies on Homeschooling made it more difficult to homeschool in AR...
He seems to be a favored candidate and decent person (for a politician) but not all that glitters is gold.
I mean, even Bill Clinton claimed to be a Christian.
He (Huckabee, that is) looks good, but he has not won my vote yet. He's closer than anyone else, though, to gaining my support.
(and I actually can vote!!! Whoohooo, I'm excited to finally be able to vote in a presidential election!) I voted in the last midterm elections, but that was the first I was old enough. Luke wasn't old enough, then... Heehee, it may have been mean, but I called him to tell him "Guess what I just did!!"

I agree with you. Huckabee is a good choice, except I have read his standings. He is weak on illegal immigration. I stand Almost 95% behind a man named Duncan Hunter. Check out his campaign and compare the too. I would definetly vote Hunter. But thats just me.
OH and Hunter is a Baptist so :)
Love ya mate

Yeah girl you rock! Hucabee's Arkanesian coolness! I've actually seen him and sat in his chair at the LR capital!!!!!
The Indy Colts have lost and my heart has been ripped into a million peices. I really did cry quite hard. I keep putting Peyton's pictures on my desktop and colts vids and stuff on my blog bcuz I'm in denial that I won't see them again until September:( I miss them so!!!!!!!!!!!! Peyton's the closest thing I have to a guy!!!!!!!:P And the awsome coach is thinking of retiring! And my Manning may leave my Colts to play for somebody else!!!!!!!! If that happens, CAN a heart be torn in 2 any more than that?:(
But I'm happy it looks like Favre and his cheesehead buddies have made it to the big bowl!!!!! Funny when he threw a snowball at Donald Driver's butt!!!! We're having a big superbowl party and I'm painting all the boys faces. FAVRE 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course in all probability he'll retire after this. WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Why does everyone retire???? Ok, I'll stop.

Well you know this but I'm in agreement with Toria and Meggy. We got to see Huckabee at our old church once when he was governer here. I don't remember a lot about it but it was really good. Of course I'm not old enough to vote but my parents are of course and my sister will be. Huckabee all the way!!! :D
And pray is right. Even if you don't want to necessarily pray for Huckabee to be president, def. pray that God's will be done in this country.
