I know what you're all thinking. You're thinking, "Whew! We got Miss Toria off her football rampage! We haven't heard a word about football for a good 3 months or more....hallelujah!"
Muhahaha!!! This is NOT the case!!! ^_^ Although my "crazyness" for football may have mellowed, it's still there. There just haven't been much to report!!
Lions took 1st place...for most lost games, that is. Not a single game was won by them ALL SEASON! Incredible! Needless to say, if I was fed up with them before, I am TOTALLY fed up with them now!
Poor Peyton and Eli Manning both lost in the playoffs, so no Manning grins in the SuperBowl for us! BUT, not all is lost...because the CARDINALS made it to the Big Bowl!! WHOOHOOO!!! *cheers erupt as everyone rushes for red shirts* I was pretty worried that it would be a "boring" SuperBowl with un-interesting teams, but a game with Cards vs. Steelers should be quite thrilling! Kurt Warner of the Cards is a awesome Christian guy....his name sound familiar to you? He's in "The Good Sports Gang", a show your little siblings probably have watched before. Again, great guy, and I can't wait to see him play Sunday!!
Last year, the SuperBowl wasn't as "fun" because I was too worried sick (literally....after the game I had worked myself up so badly that I was sick for the rest of the week!! lol) that the Giants would loose, but this game should be more "fun"...although I do want the Cards to win, Steelers are still a good team (after all, they played a big roll in leading Tony Dungy (former Colts coach) to Christ) so I can just calm myself down knowing that either team deserves a win. ....but I'm still pulling for the Cardinals. ^_^

Anyhow, Chrissy's been bugging me to post, so I guess I must. But here's the deal: I'm posting about football. I can't stand it any longer!!!! *giggle* Just one post....bear with me peoples!!!!! ^_^
What's new in the football world? I actually really don't know!!! *giggle* Eli got married a couple weeks ago and the media's gonna hound him when they get back from their honeymoon....and that's pretty much all the news I got. =P And the draft was on Saturday. I think. But I know nothing about it and I probably should. Oh well....as long as Darren M didn't go with the Pats I'll be fine. If he does....I don't know what I'll do. *huffs*
Played 500 Dead or Alive practically the WHOLE day with Diva-A and her sibs. 'Twas fun, except it got boring after awhile because we weren't counting for points because the one girl only wanted to throw the ball...it was still fun though. Better than 4-square!!! =P (okay okay, inside joke...)
More football news: I could be perfectly sure that I saw Tom Brady in the store....*shivers* And this guy was glaring at me and following me around the whole store with his I'm-more-priss-than-thou girlfriend or someone....*shivers* Man it was s-c-a-r-y....then I had this freaky dream about him, too. Seriously though, I could be perfectly sure that I saw him....only his eyes weren't so bright, but they still had that glare!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! And he still lurks in my house, Meggy!!!!! SAVE ME SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!
Wanted to play the Colts against Cowboys today, but Ky made us play Green Bay against Lions. Not a bad choice....except we always play Favre and I've been in a Peyton mood lately. =P
Speaking of Favre, GUESS WHAT?! He's gonna be in the '09 Madden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOOO!!! Least that's what Ky says. I say it's a sign that he'll regret retirement and come back. ^_^ lol I know I know, I still don't believe he's really GONE.......and I just realized the saddest thing the other day!!! I've only seen Brett play...TWICE!!!!! That's IT!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! On Thanksgiving when he demolished the stupid Lions and then when he lost to the Giants (aka his last game....*sniffs*) Man that is SADNESS!!!!!!
Love is a shelter in the middle of a war.....man, I shoulda never seen that trailer of the movie!!!!! lol I really don't know if the first part will be any good though, 'twas a little on the graphic side....we always have lotsa little kids over and I wouldn't like to see them watch it and have them be freaked of crashing cars and fires and women screaming that they don't wanna die!!!!! Do I think the movie will be better than Facing the Giants??? Movie quality wise: yes. Plot and script wise: no. You just can't beat football. =P
She came home today with a ring on her hand.....NO!! I will not switch to that song now!!!!! And before that it was that stupid song about Monday-Monday on that Mike Rowe commercial because he's changing from Tuesdays to Mondays and my brother sings that stupid song ALL the time!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! No no no, I will NOT think of the other Discovery song.....no no NO!! lol Speaking of songs, guess what they played in WalMart on the radio today??? A SONG FROM THE FACING THE GIANTS SOUNDTRACK!!!!!! It was the "come on back to Me" song and I was so excited!!! ^_^ They played another Christian song last time I was in there, too...thought that was cool.
Okay, can't think of anything else new footbally or song wise and my family's waiting downstairs...I'll write a post on my week soon. ^_^

Sorry, this has to be fast, need to go clean my room and do laundry (the Long's are coming for dinner tonight) Just wanted to let ya'll know that *sigh* Imma not gonna write about football until the season starts again......UNLESS it's big news or something....okay, we'll see how long that resolution lasts. *giggle* Ya happy now Julia??? ;-P
I need to write a bunch of posts tomorrow, one of which is an animal conservation one that hopefully I'll get around to putting up here. Hey Julia, mind making me a banner girly??? ;-P I'd appreciate it girl!! lol Not sure if I'll do it every other month or something.....hey we can be partners again in this one too like your conservation 101 posts if you want!!! First the football news:
Got a horribly sad phone call from Meggy today letting me know that Darren M. is going to go check the PATS out!!!!! NonononononoNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *yells* NO!! For anything I care about, he might as well go to the Lions before he goes to the PATS!! NO! I'm going to cry tonight....what's a girl gonna DO?! If there isn't an AR to go to, he needs to go to CO!!!!!!!!! NOT the Pats....
Oh and Meggy, you'd be pleased to know that I spent about 5 minutes in the pouring rain trying to figure out how far I could throw. Only threw about 8 balls I think before we had to call it quits, it was just raining too hard. So within 8 tries I got it to go 33 feet and 6 inches!!!! Farther than I though!!!! But KcD can throw 72 feet and 7 inches!!!!!! I definitely think NIkki and maybe my dad could throw around 100 feet, or at least close to there.
Now what's going on with me (now that Darren and throwing are said and done)
We're baby-sitting Ange's kids tomorrow, need to do school too because I hardly did any today (went to go see my 2nd cousin (he's 1 month old) and then the dentist, then I never got back to school) and on Wednesday we have art class again. Last time we went (like two weeks ago?) was a class to make up for one that was canceled because of the snow (YES in SPRING!) Usually art is once a month and then we take the summer off. So ANYhow we have that on Wednesday, going to Gram's house after that, too. Thursday we're probably doing a lot of school, I'm hoping to do a PACE in science (we do ACE curriculum) that day because then I only have 3 left until the year's done. I'm about that close in history and English too, so that's pretty exciting. Friday the Long's are coming for dinner, and Gigglelot (lol, my brother wasn't about to put "Dearest" when talking about her on his blog so he calls her Gigglelot! lol), Giffimon and Miss Priss (formerly Lil' Sis, didn't like that name anymore and 'sides, my bro isn't about to call her "Lil' Sis" either!! *giggle*) will be here so that should be funfunfun!!!!!

K, that was on....the 31st I think. Now what's been up since then:
Went to art class, drew a stoplight (wow....SO thrilling.....) then after we went to Gram's house for the day. Took lotsa pics because Gram and Pa are going to AZ next week and they wanted to bring pictures to show the fam that lives down there. Today we did school, some guy came to put in a water filter tap thingy in our sink. Did school, too, then went food shopping and talked to Meggy in Wal*Mart. Oh, let me clarify that: I talked to Meggy on the PHONE in Wal*Mart. Not in person. lol And she freaked me out, thought I was going to pass out, I went into mental shock. Horrid. The girl gets me all hyped up about some bad news she has, tells me she hoped I would find out on my own, that I should go find a chair, while I'm thinking "Goodness, I already know it! It's about Darren playing with the Pats!" and when she says it WASN'T about Darren....I almost panicked! Because THAT means...it has to do with Brett. The Manning boys. OH NO!!! She assures me Brett's fine, so's Eli....but it has to do with Peyton. And I think she's crying right now, too. So NOW my heart is beating super fast, and I choke out...."He.....he's not playing anymore?" while she says, "Um....un....*sniffs really loud* He's playing for the *cries* Redskins!!!!!!!!!!!!" While my jaw drops and I go into mental shock and I'm gonna pass out. So this goes on for like, 5 minutes before she says April Fools, took me a while to believe that she WASN'T telling the truth and that Peyt was safe with the Colts. Man that was nasty! And then Emy put some super whacky (and in my mind a little....eh....odd to go gently) pics on my blog of HER fav actor and actress and then puts a title on MY sidebar that says "MY fav actor and actress!!" NOOOOO!!!!!!! Get those things OFF!!!!!!! lol Sheesh, you two! lol And Meggy we REALLY need to get Christian back for that....that was just, nasty! What if I actually passed out?! lol

Falling off the planet is a bad idea....good thing I didn't do it!
Hey ya'll, my hands are sooooo cold, just got back from outside where I was tossing (or "trying" to) football with my dad and bro. I'm a horrible receiver....and Peyt's throwing formula didn't work, either *puts pout on face* Dad's over there saying all sorts of stuff like, "Man, what is THAT?! What's his face, Manning, wouldn't do that!" while I say, "That's what he says to do!" and dad's like, "WHATever..." *sigh* It's depressing! Guess I'll just have to practice more....but man my hands hurt so bad and so does my shoulder, 'twas going to wear gloves but then I realized why my dear Favre never wore them in his *sobs* last game. My hands still feel numb *whines* AND I STINK AT FOOTBALL!!! But I'll try, every day if I have to, to throw 'em smooth!!! But wait, it doesn't matter if it looks like a dying duck as long as it gets it's job done, right? ^_^ And horrible throws are wonderful opportunities for amazing catches!
Goin' to the homeschool convention this spring with my parents and lil bro!!! Never went before, my parents have been going for 10 years but this year me and KcD get to go because he's finally old enough.....get to go look at what curriculum I want for next year!!! YAY!!!! I get a new one!!! We've been doing A.C.E. ever since, like, 3rd grade and I'm SO sick of it! Before that we got a new curriculum ever year.....
Talked to Meggy today, 'twas rather interesting because Sticks (just watch as that's not his nick-name....*huffs* why can't I remember?!) and KcD were trying to say stuff 'bout football players in weird voices, then Meggy and I talked about how my dad's named after a football player and there's this movie about a football player that he cried on a long time ago (it's an old movie, problem is I can't remember WHAT it is!!! never seen it...) and what else did we talk about....oh right, confusing Reggie Whites and Waynes and oh how Darren's playing for AR!!!!!!! Yippeee!!! Now I getta see who the guy really is!!! *snickers* And Meggy dearie you should be proud of me for playing football today, it was sooooo cold but I braved it like dear Favre and I tried my hardest to be like Peyton (despite all criticism)!!!!!!
Nikki and Chick are here, did I say that already? Anyhow they're here, came on Monday and they leave not this Monday but the next. Been really fun having them here, Chick is SO cute and I love her to pieces!!! And she's taken a fondness to Emy's picture....dunno why, but she looks and points at it. Maybe it's the red hair.....=P
What else is new, caught a dog the other day but we found out whose it was and returned it, he was a really pretty husky, too. Tonight I'm hoping to talk my family into watching the 5th Love Comes Softly DVD, Nikki hasn't seen it yet and I really like that one the best, nothing TOO sad happens in it....I mean it's not like they SHOW dear Willie dying because if they SHOWED him dying I don't know if I could stand it!!! Poor Willie...I liked Willie!!!! Why'd they haveta kill him???? But her new husband isn't all that bad, either...
Planning Dearest's birthday party!!! It's gonna be SuperBowl themed!!! *giggle* 'Cause I know her mom's not gonna let her come by herself without her little sister coming for TWO sleep-overs (her birthday and then for the SuperBowl tape!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!) so we're gonna combine them. Should be funfunfun!!! Need to plan what else we're gonna do, too, but usually we can to absolutely nothing together and still think it's the bestest thing on earth!!! ^_^
I should get going though, need to write a letter and I have other stuff to do, but I knew I hadn't posted in a while....so sorry!!! I'll try to post again soon, k?
