Memory of Favre

Devastation. Heartbreak. THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING!!! Dear, loveable, loyal, truthful Brett Favre is...GONE! Done. "Brreeettttttt Favvvvvrrrrrrreee is gooonnnnnneee foreevvvveeeerrrrr" like Meg's bro says. I've got a massive headache now and I know the minute I go to bed I'll start bawling. I....I....I WANT FAVRE BACK!!!  

 

I'll miss him like CRAZY. Wouldn't like football if it wasn't for him. And I KNEW that one day he'd have to leave, but I didn't know I'd only get to watch ONE SEASON of him! That's IT! Oh this is just too terrible! Never see his amazing aim again. NO! Don't say it. I can't say it. And yes Meggy when I saw his pic on the back of my door I got all choked up but I promised myself I wouldn't cry when I was on the phone with you. It can't be happening....

 

Favre IS gone. And I only got to see one season.

 

Walked outside today to go to my hair cut appointment. Every step seemed to say "Favre's gone. Favre's gone. Favre's gone..." and then the freezing wind blew in my face reminding me of the last game he played. It stung my eyes and made me want to cry even more. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! "Is it true?" "Yup" 

 

Only good thing that happened is my dad told me he'd watch some funny Favre clips with me on his computer. Let's hope I don't start crying. I'll see if I can get some on here in Brett's memory.

Football and Prayer go hand in hand

THE GIANTS WON THE SUPERBOWL, PEOPLES!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? I still can't believe it, it's only the second time a "wild card" like them actually won the game. But oh dear me, it was horrible to watch. Terrible. Just to sit there and rock back and forth in the rocking chair at the ski cabin (were away skiing) and just pray and pray and pray and then once in a while send Eli mental messages like "No! You're waiting too long!", "Can't you see what Peyton's trying to tell you?", "No! You waited to long! Just run!", "You're only chance is a field goal if you wanna get more points in a matter of 56 seconds!" and so on and so on. But oh baby you shoulda' seen the miracles that were happening on that field!! Too many to count. But from all the stress and waiting and praying and sending mental messages......I got sick. Really sick. I have the worse cold ever, and now my stomach hurts. So I could use some prayer that I get better reeeeaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllyyyyy soon, 'cause I can't go skiing until I'm better. we only have 2 more days....oh, and Meggy? Guess what my brother said? "Well....Eli's a pretty good QB.....but.....Brett Favre is better!" hehehehehehe.....my dad even had to agree on that one, that Farve was one of the best....I still say that Eli's pretty good though ^_^ For a Little Mann, anyhow. *giggle*

Those Bad Boy Brothers In Blue....speakin' of the Mann boys, but there's nothing bad about them...they are the bestest, though!!

Yeah, thought I'd let you know that. Wear a big #10 on your forehead on Superbowl Sunday. GO ELI!!! Yup, your dearly loved animal conservationist Croc Toria has gone football mad. I'm even hopin' to talk my parents into letting me play with a local high-school (but of course the parents or the school prolly won't let me) Anywho, that wasn't the point of this post. ^_^

'Sides, Eli's gonna marry her (and YES, he's named after Eli MANNING!! WAHOOOO!!! GO #10!!! there's also a Brett and Peyton in there....I just love 'em so much I couldn't leave 'em out of all of my books, so I stuck 'em in one. ^_^) and then I'm trying to figure out when the guy dies in the sand....of course, while playing "Jesus Hurry" and he faints and dies at the chorus! I know I know I know, I'm weird, but it's true! He dies just like...*snaps fingers* that!
6. My thoughts and dreams. Trust me, never ask me about them 'cause I'll be VERY passionate 'bout them! *giggle*
7. Passionate about Bobby Flay should marry Giada DeLarentis or whatever her name is. 
8. Animals should be respected!

8 Things I Want to Do Before I Die:
1. Get at least 8 of my books published (yes, very big goal!) and make at least 3....no, 4, because of the soldier one, into movies.
2. Whale-watching would be VERY cool, Meggy! And I'll come with you!!! and then we'll go to FL and jump CROCS! Wahooo!! I'll take you all w/ me...
3. Travel to at least 3 different countries
4. Watch the Lil' Mann win the Superbowl
5. Direct a totally-flipping-the coin-sweet movie. Don't know what it'll be, but it'll be sweet. Flippin the coin sweet.

6. Talk to someone in sign language
7. Get married would be cool.....okay, that was lame. ^_^
8. Work at a zoo!!!

8 Books I've Read Recently:
1. Almost all of the Elsie Dinsmore books (the old ones) but I forget which ones it was. I already read the series so I was just reading them over
2. Millie's Fiery Trial...TOTALLY awesomeness, although the whole...I don't know whatta call it....the whole old woman thing I guess you'd say was totally weird and I didn't like it that well, but I waited almost a year for the book so I read it up in a couple hours.

3. Proverbs....you should see it, totally marked up and all! ^_^ I love my pens...forget high-lighters, pens are totally bettter!!!
4. A Gown of Spanish Lace.....I love that book. ^_^ It's dramatic romantic, and yes there is such a thing, Emy dear!
5. Do the books I write count? Because then it would be "Johanna's Trust", "Rain of Hope".... "Lost to be Found" (where the guy dies in the sand and we play "Jesus Hurry"...oh, right, already told you about that.)

1. God doesn't want you to be perfect...but He DOES want you to try!
2. Watching Brett Favre for the last time is heart breaking
3. Brothers can get pesky, but tell 'em about Mann's eyes and they'll end up being okay.

5. God's got my future planned, although I'm dying to know He won't let me...
6. Brett Favre is totally awesomeness, but Eli Manning is totally flippin' sweet too. So is The Mann....meanin' the Peyton Mann....

Don't laugh....it's sad. Horrible. So you'd better cry too

Guess what.....*sobs* GREEN BAY LOST! they lost! Ahhhhhhh!!!! oh, what am I to do?! I mean, I like the Giants and all (I mean, they have #10!!!! Eli Manning!) but I was hoping that Farve would get to go to the Bowl for once before he *sobs uncontrolably* LEAVES US! oh, I won't think of that....he'd better be playing next season....but all in all it was a good game, poor Favre didn't even wear gloves and it was -24 outside. #9 on the Giants team kept messing up field goals, so we were really shocked that he was the one that one the winning point for the team (23-20) Um what else happpened, oh my fav part of the whole game was when Favre wnet up to Manning and gave him a hug....come on, I didn't want them to be MAD at each other!!! ^_^

But now my crazy football watching is over....back to normal posts about animals! *giggle*
