Guess who just turned 18?? Whoohooo, it's JOCELYN!!

Jocelyn is an amazing young lady...she's been so helpful to my family and to me, and she's an encouragement to many young ladies across the globe. I love her to pieces and I CANNOT wait to get to meet her (Lord Willing) this summer. Not only does she have her own little ministry with her blog, but also with Feelin' Feminine and Growing in Grace.

Today's Lana's birthday...hurrah!! ^_^

I "met" Lana about 2 years ago through a friend of mine, and we've kept in contact ever since! She's a sweetie (although I have to admit, she's surprised me quite a few times by turning whacky when I didn't expect it! lol Hehehe, jk!) and I'm really looking forward to meeting her (and Baby H!) in person (Lord Willing) next April. She's a great person, and she's been there for me through some pretty tough times...sharing tears as well as laughter!!

Anyhow, I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday, Lana Marie!! ^_^ (make sure Luke does something special for you!! =P )

IMPORTANT: Pray For Jenna Day- April 29th!!!!

"Jenna is a remarkable 10 year old that has been batting brain tumors since she was 3 years old. Six surgeries later she continues to live life with a smile on her face and faith in her heart. Another tumor was recently discovered and she is in need of all our prayers. We are asking...Christian Schools to add her to their daily prayer intentions for APRIL 29th. Also we would love for any home schol groups and all their families to join us as we pray for her healing. It is just so beautiful when kids pray for other kids."

I've never met Jenna before, but friends of ours are close friends with Jenna's family. Please pray for this little girl on APRIL 29th (tomorrow) as she is fighting a battle I hope none of us will ever have to face.

Glory in the Highest!

Last night my family had our Passover Seder which, as my mom said, had "every emotion"....laughing, crying, soul-searching, and joy! I had a wonderful time, it was so meaningful to me and we had a little girl who came as well who declared it "even better than Easter"! ^_^ Her family doesn't do the Feasts, or for that matter I'm not sure if they even go to church, but she reads her little Bible and she's the sweetest little thing; I'm so glad she enjoyed the Seder and that she could search her little heart and follow along!

Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures of the Seder....Mr. T took most of the pictures and he's supposed to e-mail them to us. Except, he did have a problem when the "hail" all fell on his head in the middle of a shot, and when we pulled the main switch to the power and the whole house went pitch black, or when my dad and brother fell over "dead" for the death of the firstborn and nocked Kay's juice over and Uncle Jeff fell off his chair in the attempt to play dead. -_^ After that we don't have many pictures because it was time to put the fun aside and focus on soul-searching and leaving our sins behind. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it! It was so refreshing, giving up a sin habit that I knew I was caught in to the Lord and leaving that "Egypt" behind!

10 Weeks of Esther

I thought I'd give ya'll a heads-up on this...

SimplyVintageGirl has hosted "A Homemade Christmas" for the last 10 weeks, something many have participated in. But what about those of us who don't celebrate Christmas? Aha, I have the solution!

I'm hosting "10 Weeks of Esther", a study that starts the 1st Tuesday of January and goes for 10 weeks (which should land on the Feast of Esther, otherwise known as Purim) I encourage you all to join me! We'll read 1 chapter of Esther every week and post about what we find/learn. I will also be posting craft/party ideas that we do on Purim, and you can do the same!
