Jul. 13, 2006 - So, for the news,
We are expecting! Number 4 is on the way! There I said it. It is still quite early (I am almost 7 weeks) but I am just so excited. I was going to wait.... but you know how that goes. I am hoping and praying that all goes well. Not too much time today, but I will be back again soon.

Jul. 2, 2006 - Its been a while...
It seems as though I haven't been on here in forever. Probably because I haven't. Well I'm gonna try to keep up again. So many thing have ben going on. The most recent is the flooding in the Northeast. Where I am in NY got hit very hard. We ourselves were spared. The water came up as far as the edge of our street but didn't come down it. DH works at the university where the red cross set up a shelter so he was very busy. Clean up has been underway for a couple days now and it is a mess. Mud everywhere. While we have no one in our families who was directly flooded out, we are all affected. My heart goes out to eveyone. We went walking down some of the roads that were flooded and all you saw was all the residents emptying their basements and garages out to the curb for garbage. Sad.
Well I suppose that is all for now. Time to get the boys up from their nap. I will be back soon. I may have some news

Feb. 27, 2006 - Complicated!
How is it that families always tend to make everything more complicated than it needs to be?!!? We needed a babysitter. Now that had changed days, added dinner. Switched houses...twice! and throw in the the fact that her kids are sick and I want to avoid that. I am also trying to clean house cuz I have company coming to stay next weekend and a birthday party to plan for on Wednsday. This totally didn't need to be this stressful!!! And now I am pulling my hair out my dh is mad and all because we are trying to make everyone happy. Oh and did I mention that my Sister's car died and of course my dh had to go help with that too. AAAA families!
Ok I needed to vent. It probably made no sense to anyone out there in blog land but I feel better anyway.

Feb. 25, 2006 - I just don't know...
Today was one of those days that D just didn't want to do anything. Except watch movie or play a video game.
I said no so he refused to be interested in anything else. So after a little bit of Starfall, I told him to go do what he wanted except for TV. He decided to play with his dinosaurs. I have decided to do Ambleside Online with them, but can't start untill I get the books. I will be working on that soon.
Today was just one of the days when the boys do nothing but argue. I can't wait for spring! They need to get out and run.
Have I mentioned that before? I am sure I have.
Well my sister comes into town today, but of course her kids are sick again so we won't be going to see them for a couple of days. Now they have pink eye. We were going to have them babysit tomorrow so we could go get some stuff for D's birthday, which is on Wednsday. Guess it will wait.

Feb. 23, 2006 - Nothin new
Not too much goin on today. I got a little done on cleaning the attic. Can't do too much at once because I feel like I am totally ignoring the boys. D and I played some games today during school time. Then he got on the computer and did a bit of art in the paint program. He loves to draw different guys and monsters. They love Scooby Doo so he is always telling me a story to go along with the monsters, like a scooby show. But that was really about it for today. B's back is still really sore so it was a pretty quiet evening. Nothing really exciting here. I kind of like it that way.

Feb. 22, 2006 - Doing something a bit different.
Instead of just rambling I am going to make an honest effort to keep a daily journal for our families to see how we are doing.
Today was a great day. I was doing a workbook page with D. It was a page on oppposites. I asked him when we started if he remembered what an opposite was, he said no so I explained it and gave him a few examples. So he started on the page and the first few he would ask me to make sure he had it right. Then he would read the word then look in the word bank for the opposite of it. When he found it he would just smile and write it down he wouldn't tell me what the answer was untill he wrote it. It was so cute. It was kind of like those aha moments. He got so happy to figure it out on his own.
The boys are getting cabin fever big time. So am I. I am going crazy I just want to get out of this house. D's birthday is coming up next Wednsday, so that will be fun. We will have a little party for him. Nothing too big, just a few family and friends. He says the funniest thing about his party, I asked him if he wanted to have a pinata. He said no because there is candy in a pinata and candy is bad for us!! Can you tell we don't give the boys too much candy? I figured I'd just fill it with chocolate and a few little toys. Kids say the darndest things!!!
M is doing good at the whole potty thing. With any luck he will be out of diapers soon. It will be the first time in six years I won't have to change diapers!!
C is doing your typical middle child thing. He is into trouble every chance he gets. He is something special though. When you get to sit and do something one on one with him he acts more like a 5 or 6 year old. It is so cool the differences in the boys. Sometimes I catch myself just staring at them. They amaze me.
Well I guess that is it for now. I will try to update daily. We'll see how that goes.
Oh and if you stop by leave me a comment, I love reading them!
