I Hate Weddings

I know I might get a bit of flak from the "more romantically inclined" members of HSB, but here goes.

I really hate *most* weddings. I can't stand sitting around for 5 hours watching someone I couldn't care less about and their significant other get hitched. It's different when it's a close friend or someone I'm closely related to and know and like a lot, but when (in this case) it's a second-cousin-who-knows-how-many-times-removed who I haven't even seen for several years because she's been too busy with her boyfriend to come to family gatherings, I'm seriously annoyed. Especially since I only found out about it 24 hours previous to when we have to go. It's not like I had any plans for tomorrow, EXCEPT going and getting my driver's permit and opening a checking account! THEN I was going to go to a friend (and D-group member)'s house and play Halo 3 the rest of the day. I may still get to the driver's permit, but then there's the rest of the day totally wasted on some wedding. Weddings, shmeddings. Yeah yeah yeah, I'll change when I get older...BUT THAT'S STILL A LONG WAYS AWAY DOGGONIT!!

Don't know if you all can tell, but I'm a bit upset right now....

Yeah. So right now I'm frantically racking my brains trying to find some way out of this. Except I may have already killed what chance I had previously by griping about this.

GAH! I'll leave you all now while I go and mutilate myself.

Yeah, I'm really not looking forward to the dissections I have to do fer school. Cool blog. I'm kinda getting the hint that you don't like weddings very much. lol.

I have gotten out of going to weddings before. Yep. I was "sick"...it's a classic.

awww. don't be upset! *gives you a hug* just take afew deep breaths.... I REALLY hate weddings too. There just so (idk if I'm supposed to say this but oh well) BORING! so yeah, I know how you feel.

LOL, I don't think it will change when you get older. Most adult guys hate going to weddings, too. :)
