We are all packed up and heading to Muskogee, OK in the morning. I will be offline for a while, so blessing to you that followed along with me on my journey. If I go to the library, I will try and update. Until then...
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving remembering our Lord Jesus who has given redemption to His people by shedding his blood on the cross and who died, was buried and rose again and is now in heaven interceding for His people. Let us thank God for our salvation.

Nov. 17, 2008 Packing Part 2... Going home
One thing about the union rumors is that they are worse then women gossipers. I seem to live in the ste of confusion not know to pack or unpack.
So after starting to pack last week, I was put on hold think GreatHeart was getting a layoff Friday. NOPE. He comes home Saturday evening telling my he is getting a layoff today and we will go home today or tomorrow. So I am off to my whirlwind of packing and getting everything ready to leave.
HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Nov. 14, 2008 Another week here...
Greatheart will not get a layoff until next Friday. I have packed halfway, so now is the waiting part.
Kathrine got sick again yesterday morning for about 1 hour. Someone told me to buy some green tea, ginger tea, acidophilus. So I will invest to save in the long run.
So, that is it for now...

Nov. 12, 2008 Packing Part 1..Am I typing the same post?
It sure does feel like it.
I am starting to pack to go home to Oklahoma! I am dreading the packing because of course we have accumulated more books and a few toys.
I am excited about going home as long as I don't think of all the work I have to do. I also am a little sad of not having internet. I will miss all my online friends.
Back to packing, I will be doing a little at a time, Greatheart does not know his official lay off day; either this Friday or next Friday. I am hoping next Friday. More time to pack for me.
So this is what I'll be doing for a week or so...

Nov. 8, 2008 Will it ever end?
...the stomach virus...
4 weeks now and I had 2 small girlies with the stomach virus This time it only last 4 hours instead of eight and I am grateful for that. Friday night it started at 5:30 am and last night or rather at 3: 15 am it started again. I remove all sheets and blankets and clean well. I spray lots of disinfectanct spray. I bought disinfectant wipes. What now?
Lack of sleep doesn't help. I am glad it is Saturday. Well, I am glad it is over for now, I pray Surgar bear doesn't get it or Greatheart or me.

Nov. 5, 2008 A new Vehicle
The Lord makes sure that we trust in him in the trial that he brings in our life.
In this case it is needing a new vehicle. Our '94 Ford explorer on its last days as the transmission is going out. We bought it in WA state last year, so we have had it about a year.
We were shopping on the internet, on craig'slist. We have bought 3 vehicles on there and we have our eye one a suburban. Please pray that God will lead us to the right one. We enjoy not having a car payment, it is so freeing. I pray we can continue this process.
By the Way, The girls are doing better.

Nov. 2, 2008 Sickness jn a motel
There is a lot of sickness going around here. The worst...stomach sickness.
For three weeks, once a week, I stay up all night and clean up after one of my girls. Whew, it is exhausting, but I ssem to be reminded everytime how the Lord cleans up after me. My sin stinks worse. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his ways, by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalm 119:9.
Well, I think they are over it. Babybear seems still sickly and lethargic, but no vom iting.
I am keeping my sinus at bay. I take echinachea tea, elderberry syrup. apple cider vinegar and lots of vitamin C.
So that is what is consuming my time right now, taking care of my little girlies.

I have not had any access to the internet for a week or so.
My birthday was October 19th. I had a good Birthday. Greatheart took me shopping with some birthday money I received in the mail. I went to Bath and Body works and bought body wash, warm and pretty maroon socks, bath salts, and got Sugar Bear her own little body spray. I also got a free lamb. Greatheart and Sugar bear got me a hot pink lap desk and a beautiful Kansas calendar. At church, I got a piece of birthday cake. Great heart also sent me some flowers and chocolate.
Other than that, I am still here in a motel. Greatheart is now working 7 days a week, so it is a looong week.
We are hoping to head home to Oklahoma before Thanksgiving.
Until next time...

Oct. 16, 2008 Kansas City Zoo
Sunday, we went to the Kansas City zoo. We had fun and saw bunches of animals. We needed this family time.
The girls rode the carasoul and ate lots of icecream. Mama, enjoyed all the breaks of sitting. We walked and walked and walked. I have been sore for three days. I need to keep this up.
We were gone most of the day. We had our church service here in the motel in the evening.

Oct. 5, 2008 Activities in a motel
What do I do with my time?
Sundays,
I usually run errands with GreatHeart and we may do something like go to the park. He had to work today, so the girls and I walked down to a breakfast place and ate. I am getting more and more hungry. We decided to pay extra and do laundry here at the motel (I do the laundry now) so we don't have to do this on Sundays anymore. We try and listen to sermons on Sermon Audio and sing from the Trinity Hymnal or Cyber Hymnal orScripture songs. We then attend a home church around 4:30 and eat supper afterwards. We will not attend tonight since Greatheat works.
Monday-Friday
Schooltime! I work with Sugarbear from 9-3 pm with school. Honey bear colors and plays with Babybear. After lunch, Nap Time...HURRAY!!! I usually don't nap since I am helping Sugarbear, but I do try and read or something. In the evening, we will eat lots of processed foods. On wednesdays, we go out and run errands. I found a wonderful organic store. Other evenings, we will play games or watch a dvd. we will then do family worship and bed time.
Saturday
I told Sugar bear, if Papa works, you will do school, but if he is off, she is off. So another school and activity day.
Yesterday, being Saturday and Papa worked, we took off. We walked 5 blocks to a flea market and walked another 5 blocks back. We stopped at some antique and book stores. Then we stopped for some nachos and lemonade at the corner Old fashion Pharmacy. Then we came back, at lunch and walked 2 blocks to a tea room, which it was closed and did eat some brownies and soda at the old tea room and walked 2 blocks back. WHew! we were tired. We had fun!
I was trying to think about what to do today. I am tempted to walk 3-4 blocks down near the Missori River and let the girls run around. we'll see. After a busy day yesterday, Babybear is more cranky today.
After a week of being without wireless internet, I am glad I can get connected today. We will see about later or tomorrow.

Sep. 19, 2008 Eating in a Motel
We are still here in Leavenworth. It has been 2 weeks here in a motel. Some have asked me how do I do it? I don't know. I just do the next thing. Also the grace of God to get me from minute to minute.
Eating.
We have to do this to survive. Right now it is survival.
For breakfast, we rotate eating
cold cereal,
oatmeal with
fruit or bagel
For lunch,
the girls eat PB &J.
I think they get tired of it, so once i in a while, if we go out to eat they get leftovers from a restaurant...this is a treat. I eat whatever as my taste buds act funny.
For supper, we have had,
lots of ramen noodle,
ravioli,
chinese food,
Progresso soup
and sometimes hotdogs.
This is not very healthy, but it works for now. My Greatheart kindly takes me out twice a week to eat, even for a subway.
This sums up our eating situation. We have some snacks, such as chocolate pudding, cheese its, fruit chews, I found for a dollar.
I am open to any other suggestions as to what to eat. We have a fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

Sep. 4, 2008 We made it here
We left a day later on Tuesday. We were hoping to be here around 2:00pm. But, as usual, we had a little adventure.
We had a flat tire south Kansas City, KS. We had just merged on loop 435. Greatheart decided to drive 2 miles to a Firestone. The the big city slickers ripped us off and sold us 2 tires since the other tire was too small. So while we waited, we went to an interesting place called the Rainforest Cafe. Honey Bear was scared at first since it is made like a real jungle, but soon she adapted and said she was braving. They have animals such as an alligator, elephant, and monkey that make noises and move. It was pricey, but we had a good diversion. After 1 1/2 hours, we picked up our car with 2 new tires and headed to leavenworth, Kansas.
We arrived around 7:00pm. We had been praying for a motel with cheap prices for a family of 5. We are staying in a decent motel. We are upstairs for yesterday and today; we will move downstairs tomorrow. The owner talked to Greatheart and asked him to check some electrical work and will give him a discount.
The Lord is so faithful and merciful. I added 4 great sermons on prayer. I encourage you to listen to them. They have been a real help to me.

Aug. 17, 2008 Another Temporary Move
Thank you for your comments of encouragements and prayers.
Well, it does look like I will have a temporary move. I am tired and desire to stay home, but God has other plans. I know He will give me strength.
My mom came this week to help me out. Then I will leave back with her for a week and come home. Then My GreatHeart will come on Labor Day and pick me up and I will go up with him to Kerney, MO for about a month.
So, although I am not happy about leaving my home and church, I am very happy to be with my GreatHeart.
I pray God gives me strength as I am still not able to do much.
Here is a lyric from a children's song called "My name is Paul":
"I am happy because when I am weak, then I am truly strong."

Also my mom is on her way here and will spend a week helping out! I am excited. I haven't had strength to do anything.
He will make it beautiful in His time. Ecclesiastes

May. 4, 2008 Day 9-10 MIRL
We woke up and drove to Aztec in which, we wanted to (Meet in Real Life) a friend I met in the internet. She has 8 children. She is a wonderful lady. Here is a link to her blog: Sheri Maple.
We didn't know her address and still found her with the help of our GPS. We met up at a park for a birthday party and visited with their family. What a blessing! We spent several hours before we had to drive to our final stop for the night.

We drove from Atec, NM to Plainview, TX (which was 8 1/2 hour drive) to stay with my Aunt Hope. We lost 2 hours when we arrive in NM, so we arrived at Aunt Hope's house at 3:30 am. We were zombies, sleeping for a few hours.
On Day 10, We visited with them and some cousins until 1:00 pm and headed home, well actually to my mom's house. Our house in Ft. Worth is unlivable. We have reached our destination around 8:00 pm.
So here is the end of our adventures, although I know I will have more soon! Thanks for reading!

May. 3, 2008 Finding a motel
Well it was getting late. We were tired and wanted to find a motel, since we wanted to stop at the Four Corners. What we didn't know is that there is no motel from here until NM. Well there is that one that we stopped at in front of some kind of small Canyon, but the price was high and it was late and the girls were sleeping, so we just drove for 3 1/2 hours, arriving in Farmington, NM around 12:30 am. We didn't stop at the Four Corners, but something better is going to happen tomorrow.

May. 3, 2008 Side View of the Grand Canyon
As we were leaving the Grand Canyon, I looked over to my left and was in awe at the side view of the Grand Canyon. Here is dry dessert land and there is a big hole in the ground. Magnificent!
