• Mar. 29, 2009 - Disney on Ice
Such sweet faces while they watch such a graceful show! The work in such a show is remarkable! Yet they performed splendid! With the looks on the "Triple Girl's" faces ... it was certainly evident!
My face is even shared in a picture...with such joy with my family! I am truly blessed and thankful for the gifts to me on loan by our wonderful Father above!
Enjoy!
Well we are off on a spring break! We plan on going to a special trip with the Triple G's! It is a secret and just wait for the pictures...however; I will not be in these upcoming secretive pictures....but the suspense will have to wait. I promise that I will post soon! Right after the trip ... give me about two weeks. ;0)
until then may the joy of the Lord be with you and yours!

• Dec. 22, 2008 - Group enjoyments .. finally to share!
Well it has been quite sometime since my last blog....through the journeys of "technical hurricane!" We are done with the computer hurricane! We finally got our replacement for "our gateway lemon!"
Since the last post we have attended an election party/debate between Pooh and Piglet! Pooh had won the election that day...yet in the journey the children had learned so many valuable lessons about voting! "Thank you Monica!" Great pictures to enjoy.
We have had over 8 teeth pulled out in our oldest, then she was equipped with a "lip bumper." This is suppose to help the crowding and to keep them straighter ...(not perfect; she will still need braces) It has truly been the nemesis for her and for this family! There are a few pictures to include so that you can share in her pain. Our middle child also lost her bottom teeth as well ...aheem 'with the help from mom...ahhh!
The baby just turned a "Wopping Three;" very hard to believe! She is growing so very BIG and never lets me forget it! No more babies to squish, love, snuggle and smell left here at our house. I will continue to borrows everyone little ones! A couple of glimpses to share with you of a wonderful birthday ...her favorite was her "Tinkerbell toys" from "The Care Bear & Family, Thank you!"
We have closed our year with a "fabulous Pioneer Festival" with the co-op! We are so very thankful for God setting the perfect people in our paths to fill and overjoy us with the love of friends .....that end up becoming "family!" We all have been truly blessed this year!
We were able to enjoy a wonderful "Happy Birthday Jesus" party...it is a P-A-R-T-Y ... need I say more?
From our family to yours ... We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hopefully you will be hearing more from us in the New Year to come!

• Oct. 13, 2008 - Field Trips
The days have been flying through; with no computer for quite sometime, I thought that we should stop and take time to fill in some gaps. Our Zoo is the greatest place on earth! They do so very much by getting the children involved! We have enjoyed all of the days that they had: Character Day, Princess/Prince Day and many more... Here are a few pictures to show you how much fun we had!

**DAD was even in the spirit!**

What a beautiful ending to a glorious month of Enjoying our Surroundings!

We stopped in to visit the History Museum and took on some great sites; but I must say after the visit, "I felt OLD!"
We hope that you are taking advantage of what is available to you where you live!

• Oct. 11, 2008 - Our First Play!
Well before you start I must warn you that you really need to think HARD before letting your child enter into a play! The practices were intense even at a young age! We felt so sorry for the public schooled children because the practices were from 5-8 twice a week then on Saturday morning from 9-12. We sometimes got out on time; however when we got close to the actual play we then practiced 5-9 every night....wow!
We have been just relaxing and enjoying ourselves for the last day. Family day was a very enjoyable day of lounging around, reading and playing plenty of board games, card games and thinking games...Having a GREAT time shared together! No T.V. just enjoying each other!
Here are some great pictures to enjoy! All the children were subjected to those long nights; however as you can see they would not have missed for the world! Enjoy the slide show!
Here is the morning of relaxation with NO where to go!

yes as you noticed in beginning that there were soccer pictures ... you guessed it, we had this going on as well! yugh! It was FUN! but even my daughter said, "Mom, I am so glad the play is over...I had FUN but I am tired!" WOW!
So we ended up learning the hard way...
May God Bless you and your families richly!

• Aug. 24, 2008 - Trying our Neighbors Garden
Our hand at "gardening" seems too funny to speak about! We have a friend that has allowed us to work his farm. Not really knowing exactly what to do, our first appearance was with his children. The children decided to educate our children about what to pick etc... Our lovely girls decided that they would try there hand at it ... with the screams from bugs, insects, dogs and anything else that moved.

the littlest one stays clear of the garden ...her love for the animals showed through so much that the dogs would not let her leave them
an all day affair of the below:

Leads to a Great Evening:

upon returning home this is what we came up with for vegetables, yet the joy and learning experience was unforgettable! We will save the canning episode for the next time ... perhaps. *grin*
This was only one flat (is what we call them) the van was full .. maybe 4-5 of them...sharing was necessary for beginners such as ourselves! We have enjoyed this journey so very much that we will try our hand at the beginning of putting out a garden...the children are looking forward to seeing the whole seeds to sowing and gathering! We are excited about next year. Thank you to my friends who have earnestly inspired me to do and try these things that I have always wanted to do....Thank you to our Father in Heaven who has given me the opportunity and still is opening up my world to all of those things that I have only dreamt about ....

• Aug. 10, 2008 - "Suprise to me!"
Turning 40 was really not a big deal for me! Other people try to think and make it a big deal, by the usual comments. "Oh my 40 years old, I never would have thought?" or "40 are you sure?" or "YOUR not THAT old!?" The last one was always my favorite ...then they would always follow up with, "WOW! How old is your husband, again?" The comments never ended really bothering me ...I just wanted to dodge everyone who knew I had a birthday coming. Not because I was turning 40 ... but for all the comments....Well, let me tell you the 'rest of the story.....
I had to work on the evening before my birthday, my husband and children were going to a wedding. Upon his arrival home, he went to pull into the driveway and noticed something different....so he stopped! Stopped at the beginning of our driveway leaving the vehicle partway on the court/circle. From his explanation, the children were in 'awe, then as daddy was filling them in...they were saying 'COOL, how AWESOME!
I drove up; mind you late verrrry late at night! As I was coming down the end of the road I noticed that my husband didn't pull into the driveway like normal. I was in a stupor, stopped in the middle of the road and called him up...just to ask "Why didn't you pull all the way into the driveway?" He stated in a calm voice, "Wait and you will see!" I was thinking of the worse ...like the whole side of the hill caved in ...or perhaps the house.....you know those type of things.... he he! I still didn't notice a thing...walking up to the door where I almost ran into it! That is when I backed up to look at it ALL! Here is what I saw....I only wish we could have caught the whole house into one picture so that you could enjoy it as much as we did! A friend from my husbands work drove a lonnng way just to do this for me! "How Sweet!" What do you think? Sit back and enjoy the laugh ...envision this along with the knoweledge of the post before this ....the wall and the hole in the yard etc.... I wanting to tear it down right away, my husband only saying, "NO ITS not your birthday yet! LEAVE it up!" Complying with my husband; not happy about it, however we left it up for the time being.
another window the front door: still more: last one: |

• Aug. 10, 2008 - Birthday Party; "Fear Factor Style"
"Have you ever thought you were going to laugh so hard that you would just pee your pants?" This would be the day! If you remember one of my previous posts I was discussing how my girls wanted to invite boys to their birthday party this year. They also wanted it to be FUN! We do not have boys, so our imagination and creativity ran away ... so there you have it! Our middle child had a scavenger hunt party *that got rained out; so we had it inside* now the oldest child had a "Fear Factor Party!" Coming up with the grossest ideas was so much fun! Maybe we went to far...you might want to be the judge of that. :0)
The children were sometimes blind folded to guess what they were feeling, then there were contests on who can eat the fastest only they could not see what they were eating...he he. The items that we found were really gross feeling (gummies) and looked pretty gross like the true insect/rat, bat...
Here is a little slide show for you to see for yourself! Being a parent is the best thing in the whole world, especially when you jump right in knowing God is always there holding your hand!
If you would like to know what we used to be so gross; we will happily fill you in on the juicy gross edibles!
It was truly a special day! At the end my daughters were saying that was the best day ever! Thank you Dad and Mom! With that ending what else could you ask for? Nothing...Just Thanking our Father above for the Privilege to enjoy his children on loan to us...yet again! |

• Aug. 9, 2008 - "The Neverending Wall"
There are only two walls that you can see from outer space: 1.) is the great wall of China; the other is "our" great wall! We have been doing this project with our family members for roughly 3 years now. We are coming to an end! Below you will finally see what we have been up to in our spare time and why! We still have to add some to each sides and then we plan on building a little one at the side of the house; (*hint: where the direct satellite shows is our side of house) yes that is caving in from us tearing the original rock wall down. We used those bricks for the wall in the back since it was the same kind! Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!
We will continue to work on this however we just wanted to share our great endeavors...or rather foolish endeavor! We will see upon completion and the first good Rain Storm we get, if "our" wall continues to stand! *grin*
"ENJOY!"

• Jul. 6, 2008 - Special People for Special Purposes
Our gracious father above seems to always know what is best! When we are needing wonderful influences, role models and encouragers throughout our life's journey .... he places them ever so gently that "we" hardly realize who and what they really are until time has past! We have been so very blessed by meeting some of the most wonderful people here who influence us in Christian family, mothers, fathers, workers, friends and the list could go on! There are far too many negative people whom we can choose not to affiliate ourselves with and instead "receive God's blessings for us!" Prioritizing and maintaining that list is tough enough in our everyday life and journey! We were reminded of how easy that is to misplace today in Sunday school when someone else brought up "the list!" God, Husband/Wife, Family and then all of the other daily activities,etc... Why should we even be tempted to depart from this thinking, yet the inevitable always happens .... "Caught up in the secular motion of "that circle;" not having God first but ourselves first!" It is such an easy slump to get into, yet so easy to refrain from .... We have learned a long time ago: "To always stay in an individual prayer closet, then have a prayer/bible time with your mate alone, and then of course family bible time! With the three things listed above life seems to always seem to go on with God's agape love shining down on us! Okay enough of the bible thumping ... I really just wanted to share a few faces that have been instrumental in our families especially our children's lives! To God above and to them "We Thank YOU ALL!"
