Is it wrong?

Is it wrong to be happy that the public and private school age children are returning to the classroom this week?

Is it wrong to think how empty the stores will be since parents won't be bringing thier wonderful children shopping with them because the kids will be in said classroom?

Is it wrong to think how peaceful it will be to go to the park or the river because no children or teens will be lurking about out of boredom?

Is it wrong to enjoy the silence of the library again?

Is it wrong to think how blessed I am that my kids are homeschooled and not sitting in a classroom for 8 hours a day?

Is it wrong to be thankful that my kids are not having to do about an hours worth of homework upon arriving at home after sitting in school for the before-mentioned 8 hours?

I was just wondering...

Teehee... umm, no... none of those are wrong! mwahahaha... I was thinking the exact same stuff myself today! :-D

LOL, homeschoolers are probably the ones who are most excited about the first day/week of school! *evil grin*

Oh, it's not wrong at all! I am right there with you. We went to the zoo today, since local residents get in free on Mondays. It was crazy with so many people! One of the first things we planned was to go back in September when it will be blissfully empty! My middle child always feels sorry for the public school kids this time of year, though. He wishes they knew what they were missing out on.

is it wrong to hope more people don't find out about the joys of homeschooling just so we can keep the good vacation days?

NOPE! We all enjoy those little perks to homeschooling. Still, it's sad to see all those faces being locked up and with no freedom.

No, I don't think it's wrong, but I do feel bad for those kids and those families who will never come to the revelation of how wonderful their children are... I used to be one of those moms... who couldn't wait for their kids to be back in school so things would be easier for me, now I know what a blessing and joy my children are and I LOVE being with them!!!

Wishing you a happy, fun filled school year.

Blessings,
Theresa

I enjoy being able to go to the stores and have no waiting. It's great.
