"Dad" and "Da-da-da-da" has been sweetly ringing through our house for months now!  The word mama hasn't even been attempted.  It's so funny....we'd even get up close to Nathan, smile and say, "Nathan, say MAMA".  He'd think for a moment, smile, and blurt out "Dad"!

That was until yesterday morning!  All of the children had congregated into our bedroom.  We were there chatting about the day ahead, playing, and listening to the roosters crow.  Soon started the, "Nathan, say MAMA".  As always, he flashed his sweet little smile, and then......imagine our shock, surprise, and pure elation as he blurted out "MOM"!  Hearing our joy, laughs, and clapping, he responded with "Ma-ma"!! 

Oh the sweet, sweet sound!

What a cutie!!!!! I've got a 10 month old girl, Sophia. She is the first of our babies to say "mama" first! All the others said "dada" first. Needless to say, that girl has me wrapped around her little finger. ;-)
