Scaramouche: A Romance of the French Revolution Posted By

Out of the Blue Book and Movie Reviews
The story of The French Revolution unfolds as the amazing tale of Andre-Louis, or Scaramouche as he becomes. When a friend of his is murdered Andre vows to take revenge by doing the very thing his friend was killed for. Speaking out. Very soon he finds his life changing in dramatic twists and unexpected turns. My Thoughts: I loved this book. I was constantly wondering what would happen next, and continually surprised when I found out. When I've read other books set during The French Revolution I've been incredibly confused by all the politics and although there were a few times like that in Scaramouche, for the most part it was very easy to follow. I adored the characters in this books and the many settings the scenes took place in. I do have to admit though I didn't like the ending. It was to flowery, sappy for me. All in all, one awesome book. View all my reviews >> •

Trip, pics, and felt projects Posted By
Amy
![]() On Monday and Wednesday my dad took Alison and me on bike rides along the man made rivers to the park that most of the above pictures were taken. Alison also rode on tuesday, which made her milage for the trip about 40 miles! I don't think I went anywhere as close. I was riding my grandma's bike though and it doesn't have pedal breaks--only hand breaks, so that can be interesting if you aren't used to them. :-) Thankfully only once I tried to pedal backwards, but no one got hurt. I might post a few other pictures from our trip later but for now I think I'll go back to making felt strawberries. I found a really simply tutorial here and had to try it out. My other project was a felt cupcake, (tutorial here) but mine didn't turn out quite right... Someday I'll get around to posting pictures. :-) I love using felt! •

What I Did Today! :) Posted By
swimmergirl
Today I went to my friends Katherine and Allison's house, we did alot of stuff. First, we talked about making a photo album of things we have done together. Then we talked about our band called Ice Pops and that their cousin Ava is joining. We also helped their clean the house and went on our Blogs and they showed me how to write a new entry. We drew pictures and played with their DS games and then played Suite Life on Deck and it was then time for me to go home. That was what I did today after my half day of school!

I Feel Like Queen Posted By

My Out of the Blue Scribbles
I've had a strange feeling all day today. A happy feeling, although I wasn't sure why. The words, "this is the day, this is the day, this is the day," kept running through my head. I must admit, I knew what the voices were talking about, and for once they were right.
Needless to say I could just scream. Sadly, the rest of the house is soundly sleeping so I shall restrain myself till morning. Until then I shall grin, gaze lovingly at my purple progress bar, and feel like Queen. •
