God is so GOOD!

Well I had a stressful night last night, and the car went in for a service this morning, so I didn't get to the doctor until this afternoon. I saw the GP and he sent me to the hospital anyway. And there....I got my ultrasound scan! AND!!!!! Baby is fine! Everything is developing well, I'm exactly 14 weeks along. Everything is proportionate, heart is beating well. We're having a baby! And I am just so happy! Can you imagine just how amazing it was to see my baby on the screen, moving around, perfectly oblivious to all the worry I've been through? Anyway, apparantly there was a small cyst that burst last night. It's a normal part of pregnancy because to start with the ovaries support the baby, and then after that the placenta takes over, and the cyst that was there is no longer needed. They think that that is what caused my pains. So, thanks to everybody who prayed for me. Isn't God good? Oh yes, and the sonographer thinks we're probably having a boy, and while she didn't want to sound too certain, even I could see a little something.
