He didn't come home!

Well, Ken works night shift, and was supposed to finish at 1am last night.  I was in bed by then, of course, but I had to get up at 2 for a crying child.  And... he wasn't home yet!

That scared me so badly, especially since I know he has to drive past where all the hoons gather to start their drag racing lunacy, although that's not normally until Friday or Saturday nights... but still...

Anyway, he got home, at 3am.  Apparantly someone made a mistake at work and he had to stay late to clean it up.  They'll reshuffle his roster so he has to work slightly less hours over the rest of the week so he'll still work the same amount.  Phew!

Now, I'd expected to be able to get him up at 10 this morning, but I have to wait until noon.  Am I weird to look forward to my husband getting up in the morning?  I have to wait half a day to say hello to him!

Ah well, he got home safely.

Thank you Jesus that your husband got home safe. I started to get nervous when I read the title of your entry. Don't forget to give him a BIG hug and kiss when you wake him up. :--)
