Introduction to us!
So here we are!
We are a family of four and my two boys are 5 and three years old. I have thought about homecholing for some time now and when I found these webblogs I thought I migh be  good idea to share my experiences too and to learn some more fromm all of you!

We startes schooling our older son with the book "How to teach your baby o read" by Glenn Doman and then we bought all the other books and really have  blast when we get to do it... it is quite a lot of preparation, but when I show them the cards they love it most of the time!

Apart from that the older one is basically able to figure out the words we tell him to read, but so far has not  go around to getting down and reading all by himself!

With the smaller oy we really are struggling to star and I hoe to get him to know his letters sometime soon... Any ideas welcome!

Okay, All for today

blessed holiday!

So what are you doing with the younger ones? What are their ages? I feel where you are coming from. I have one in Gymnasium and two other 2 and 3. I don't plan on putting them in Kindergarten. What German books do you like for reading to kids?

Hi also from Germany! Are both boys in Kindergarten? How do you feel about that? Are you German? ("Dagi" makes me think of "Dagmar"...) It's hard to go against the flow in this country...it's hard loving this country and knowing we'll probably have to leave it...

We only just started homeschooling parallel to regular Preschool, since it is forbidden by law to homeschool in Germany- or rather- it is compulsory for all kids to go to Primary/Elementary School. Personally I would consider myself more of a mixed homeschooler. some unschooling and some "school at home". Happy to meet you all!!!
