We had lightning hit our house the other day. It was the loudest sound I have ever heard! A lot like a sonic boom. If anyone has been to an air show and heard that, you know what I am talking about. My hubby was just waking up when it happened. It was very unnerving to say the least. Well we had the phone guy come out today and all the phones and the answering machine are all fried, but not the computer! That, he says is amazing! Most of the time he sees the computer being fried. (We just had to buy this computer after both of our other computers crashed within 3 months of each other.) Our t.v., radio, the outside lights as well as the hot tub are also not working. The electrician is coming tomorrow to look at that. We will see what he says. It really has been a crazy couple of days.

On a good note, I was talking with our co-op coordinator and I will be teaching home economics to the 5^th-8^th grade girls and history to the 1^st and 2^nd graders. That is what I wanted to teach!!! I don’t have any daughters and my kids are past the fun stage of 1^st and 2^nd grade so I can’t wait!! I am using Home Economics for homeschooler and Keepers of the faith for home economics and Story of the World book 2 for history.
