Visions of You come to me and flood my mind

I awake to sun streaming in through my bedroom window and the faint chirping of birds outside. I wrap a shawl around my shoulders and steal through the house trying not to wake anyone from their slumber. I quietly close the door behind me and walk to the shining, dew-covered grass. It tickles my feet with its cold wet kisses. As I look up into the golden sunrise my heart skips a beat. I take a deep breath as my eyes encompass all the glorious beauty around me. I feel the embrace of a loving and faithful God and I know that my heart is no longer my own. I’ve been captured! In every breeze that ruffles my hair, every beam of sun that warms my cheeks, ever bright and cheery flower that makes me smile, every singing songbird, every laughing stream, and every newly blossomed bud makes me fall in love with Him all the more. He is all I have ever wanted, yet, I know I am not worthy of His love. He found and chose ME and captured my heart with one touch. He loves me the way I am but never stops challenging me to become better. He is all I need in life and all I want. He has captured my heart completely for all of my days. Now, I’ll never be the same again. Have you been captured yet?
