Emily took a deep breath of the fresh Sea air and stared at the fish that scattered around in the water. She leaned over and watched the water bubble up on the sides of the ship. "Be careful or you will fall." A voice said from behind her. She got up and stared at her Father. She smiled and he crossed his arms. "What are you thinking,M' Dear?" He asked,with a sort of tone in his voice and a raise of the eyebrow. Emily tucked her hands back behind her and gave an innocent face. "Nooottthhhiiinnnggg..." Her Father chuckled and hugged her. "Are you excited about The New World?" She nodded,face burried in his chest. "I am,Father. Very much. But...I..do miss...Mother." A tear ran down her pale face. Her Father hugged her tighter. "Don't worry,Dear. Remember what I told you." He backed away a few steps. "Your Mother can see you from Heaven. Remember?" She nodded.  Emily,a twelve year old girl from England,left her home with her Father,Thomas,to the New World. Hoping to start a new life after Emily's Mother had died from an uncurable desease.  Emily looked behind her and a grin appeared on her face. The New World was now in sight.
