About me.

O.K. Jocelyndixon asked me to post about myself so I'll try.

I am fifteen and am the oldest of nine, (so far).  I have a wonderful mama and can talk to her about anything and papa is always very protective of me.  My best friend is my brother Fortis.

I'm not allowed to tell the city that I live in, my real name, or the name of our Church because mama is afraid of creepy people.

I like to cross stich and bake some, I also probablly spend too much time on the computor... ( :

I like science fiction except for Star Wars and a lot of the more recent stuff, I like country music, as you can probablly tell, and I love love love love love love love love dancing!!!! (Contra Dancing not the modern kind.) Which reminds me, I'm going to a Civil War reenactment next month. ( :  But I'm getting sidetracked...

I read a ton, and like to put on plays with my friends from Church.  I also like to sing and am taking voice and piano lessons.

Aaaaargh!!! What kind of things do people say on this sort of stuff.  Ummmm....

I like to draw and love weddings and baby showers ect.

(These are not in any order)

Favorite movies are: Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Emma, Little Women, O, Brother where art thou?, and Stargate SG-1 (Which isn't exactly a movie but a tv show)

Books:  Lord of the Rings, Princess Bride, Little Women, The Bible, and too many others to mention.

And I like dancing, softball, dancing, talking to my friends, dancing.  I think you get the picture...

If you have any questions I could probablly answer something more specific but I am feeling slightly scatterbraind....

That was all very random...

Hobo

We have Hobo spiders in our house!!!!!!! And we think Boy got bit right in the middle of the forhead!!!!!!  It was all puffy and swollen for a little while, but it is going down now.  Papa took him to the doctor but he only said to watch it and see what happens in 2 days.

I think that he is going to be O.K. though.

I doubt anyone has as wierd little brothers as I do.  Boy, Cutie, and Beaker are partners in crime.06-F.jpg

Some of the things they say and do.... Just the other day all three of them were sitting in the back room. (We have a bit of an ant problem.) They each had a slipper and were going slap, slap, slap on the floor then they would look at the bottom of the slippers, look at eachother, look at me and go MWAHAHAHA!!!

Just today they were playing underneath our car port.

Boy- "Surrender or die!"

Cutie- "Surrender and die!"

Boy- "No, no, no. It's Surrender or die."

Cutie- "Surrender and die!"

This went on for several minutes.

More Fourth of July

For Fourth of July we went to our Grandma's house and brought another family from Church as Pearl already told you.  The fireworks were fun.  Zack and I had a tank war. A tank war is when we take two firework tanks and put them right up facing eachother and they "blast" eachother to bits!  Zack won

Another firework was called LOL.  It had the face of a clown on it and when you lit it up it's mouth and eyes would glow. We put some flares in it until the mouth burnt away and the eyes fell out of their sockets and their eyes fell out of their sockets and it was a burnt skeleton.

We did sparklers and when you pressed them against the concrete they leave white lines so we did "grafity". But Pearl kept messing up my name.

There was a fire engine and an assualt vehicle.  They had plastic wheels and we faced them at each other and lit the fuse they charged each other. The fire engine made screaming noises that sounded like sirens.  The assualt vehicle won.  Duh. That was pretty cool.

Our Church

We started going to our Church about three years ago.  We had been looking for a good Church for a really long time.  We have been to about six different Churches but we didn't really fit into any of them.   Then Mama was looking for a Church on the internet and found one that looked good.  Papa, Fortis, Puddin, and I went to go check it out and we loved it!  When we first started going there were several things about it that were definetly different from the ones we had been going to before.  First of all the songs we sang were hymns, not gospel songs.  They were different than the regular hymns too.  Some of them are really confusing.  I love them though.

Our Sundays are usually the same way every week.  At nine thirty there is singing practice, and then there is sunday school.  Then we have our service.  After that there is a questions and answers time about the sermon and then we all go downstairs and have our agape meal together.  After that there is announcments and birthdays.  If it is your birthday that week you get called up in front and Mr. L asks you questions and stuff like that.  Then everyone sings a song and happy birthday.  After that I usually go outside and walk around the block several thousand times with my friends. ( :

I am extremely grateful for my Church family. You know before we came to this Church I used to think that having an older brother would be awful. I knew a few  girls who had older brothers and they were terrors.  But at this Church the older brothers are ones that you would wish were your own.  I look at the young men at our Church and then I look at the "normal" teen age school boy and I am amazed by the difference. They are polite and well mannered and dress in a way that is honoring to God.  They same thing with the young women.  Johanna who just got married is a perfect role model. She is a sweet, God honoring, beautiful, women. Anyone who knows her should feel very proud.  I hope some day I could be even partly like her.

I would most definetly tell the name but I'm not allowed to give locations.  I am very proud to be a part of our Church and hope that we never, ever have to leave.

4rth of July

Yesterday was fun.

There was a softball game in the morning. Me and Fortis and Puddin all played. I got to play catcher. Hooray! There weren't as many people as I expected though. A lot of the people who regularly come weren't there. After the game, and our team won! It seems that no matter what team I get on it is the losing team so it is really nice when I am on a winning team. But it was a really close game. Anyway after the game some of the boys got out a three person slingshot and a bunch of water balloons and all the other people go down to the end of the field and they shoot the ballons at them. I didn't do it I just watched but then a few of the other girls got out several balloons and we charged our pastor. It was really funny. Fortis was watching and he said it looked like a bunch of "girl fans." ( :

Afterwards we went to our grandma's house for a bbq and fireworks. We took another family from Church with us. My grandma lives on a dead end with a park down at the end of it so we all went down there and played freeze tag on the play structure. I really like freeze tag because it is such a team sport. I mean in almost anything you could compete against the other players on your own team but in freeze tag you have to unfreeze people to stay alive yourself.  But we had a lot of fun.

What did everyone else do the Independance day?

God bless.

Gilbert and Sullivin

The other day we went to Rudagor. It is a Gilbert and Sullivin. It was really funny. Our Grandma took us.

Has anyone seen the Mikaldo or Pirates of Penzance? They are the best ones.

There was this really funny lady named Mad Margeret. She was crazy. And she married this one guy who was this baron. And she would go crazy because she was crazy only part of the time he would say "Basingstoke" and she would sit up straight right away and say "Basingstoke it is." And one time the barons brother came in and she was clinging to him and was crying and saying "Basingstoke." So he said "Basingstoke?" And she stood up straight and went over and sat with her husband.

I heard this one guy that was there say that his nintey six year old mother could still sing milkado songs.

The Wedding

We went to Johanna and John's wedding on Saturday. It was so gorgeous!!! Johanna was beautiful. Three of my best friends were bridesmaids and they were all really, really pretty.

After the wedding we went to the reception and there was dancing. I absolutely adore dancing. First was thier first dance then the wedding partys dance. Then there were dances for everyone. One of the last ones was the Whip the Willow. It was the first time in over a year that I got someone who actually  swung me hard, during whip the willow. It was so much fun.

When John and Johanna were leaving we all waited outside for them to come out then we pelted them with bird seed instead of rice. ( : Someone had covered their car with sticky notes. It was so much

I wish I had some pictures but they didn't allow people to take any unless they were in the balconey. And the ones I took at the reception were awful.

I looked again and I did find one pretty good one.

We're back!!!

Except now our sister puddin is on it too.

I have just finished reading the third book in a really great series. It is called the Binding of the Blade. I looove them. They are so exciting! They are about, well the fight against Satan. It starts out with the fall of man and I think it will end with ressurection. This boy at Church lent them to me. They are very Christian. There are a few things that I don't really agree with though. One of them is that the girls are too independant. They fight in wars and stuff like that. Another thing is that there are several love relationships. That's not what I mind but the girls are way too forward. One girl pretty much goes up to one of the guys and tells him that she loves him. She puts her head in his lap and they kiss. Then he has to leave to go fight and he says that "they still have hope." Then she says, "Now we have something more than hope." He says "What is that?" "We have love. I love you and think you are starting to love me too." Then he says "I think you are right." They have just been kissing and carrying on and not only are they not married but he isn't even sure that he loves her. But other wise it was very good. The descriptions are very good. The dragons are great and several of the characters are so well written that they are the kind that seem alive.
