Growing up

I am constantly amazed as I watch families growing older, the children growing up and having children of their own. It solidifies the fact in my mind that we only have a short time to hold our children thightly and teach them. If we knew when we were young that these little bundles of joy would be able to inflict more pain on us than any other thing in this world, we we choose to have them? Of course, because no other thing, besides a relationship with our Lord, can bring us such joy. God creted us knowing what pain our sins would inflict on Him. I hope ,in some way, I might bring Him joy.

Yes, they do grow quickly, and the time does pass so very, very fast. I do not regret the hours and hours I spend with my kids. (I do regret some things, though, like the clutter I can't keep ahead of... But I'm working on it.)
