so, because i have nothing better to do (that's a lie- i have plenty of things that i won't do at the present moment), i have decided to post something.

my softball team won the chapionship!!!!!! i was so freakin happy!!!! it was amazing how we got there. the game before the championship, we played the best team in the league- the dreaded eastside. we lost to them last time we played. it was the last inning, and we were winning. one of their players came up to bat, and they hit it to right field because one of our weaker players was there. she ran up and CAUGHT IT!!!!! our whole team gave her hugs and congradulations, of course. *sigh* good times.....

school is evil. i'm going to leave it at that.

i'm starting a new story. haha, we'll see how that pans out.

well, peeps, it's over. summer is practicaly gone. the warm days are going to come to end abrupt end soon. i'm sorry, i'm being dramatic. now down to business.

i am playing volleyball for a homeschool team, called the trailblazers. i am on the varsity and the JV!!! tis awesome. we have practice tomorrow, and our foist game is on the 21st. i'm excited!!!

SCHOOL IS BEGGINING SOON!!!!! AHHHH!!!!! i am doing some of the work now, cuz ima geek. haha, not really. my mom is making me do it cuz my dad goes on vacation the same day that i start school, so she wants me to have a lighter week, i guess. i'm taking biology this year for science. i'm thrilled about that .

my softball team is third in the league!!! (in case i haven't mentioned before, i play on a church league) we were going to have a tournament game yesterday, but it got rained out.  so tourneys begin next week.

so, prom was amazing!!!! i had so much fun!!! i didn't want it to be over, and i REALLY hope that i go next year..........

i'm reading a book called "bones of makaidos". it's by bryan davis. it's the last in a series called"oracles of fire". holy moly, it is AMAZING!!! i can hardly ever put it down.

i'm muddling my way through writer's block. thank heavens!! i think i've been stuck for months!! i'm sad, i know.......

i have a lovely stack of THICK BOOKS/NOTEBOOKS!!!!! *angels singing* haha i haven't had that since the beggining of the school year. ahh, summer.....

hey guys!!

so, i am almost finished with the school year. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! lol i need a vacation. i just finished typing up a stupid science research paper on the bubonic plague....  i found the subject very interesting, but i'm glad that i only have one more paper to write this year...... its a autobiography, which should be interesting. and i recently found out that the teacher that no one likes is going to be doing ALL of my classes next year... i think i mentioned that i go the Classical Conversations, right?? if not, tell me and i'll explain.

i'm going to a homechool prom in a few weeks!! i'm so excited. i haven't been to one before, so this should be interesting. in a good way.

i'm reading the lord of the rings again. i've run out of new books to read. i'm also slightly depressed cuz i finished the inkspell series or whatever its called. thems some good books..... have you guys ever read them?? they recently made the first book, inkheart, into a movie. i haven't seen it though. i want to.

so..... i think that's it....... OH! i forgot! i'm going to be working at a summer camp this year. just for one week, though. i'll be on the tech crew, since i'm too young to be a C.I.T. .... so, yeah. now i'm done.

hello everyone!!

wow, it's been a while since i was last here.... i think i've said that before...... anyway

so, school's going well. i have a really cool assignment. i have to write a paper on a piece of equiptment (sp?) that i think will be in the furture. and i have to watch star wars and write what i think made darth vader turn to the good side...... probably cuz the dark side didn't have cookies like they advirtised.... haha, nevermind.

i did a christmas play over christmas break. actually, there were five performances, but the same play, if that makes any sense. it was a lot of fun. heehee, i got to be a goth. it was pretty awesome.

i have dubbed meself a facebook addict. i'm on that thing ALL THE TIME!!!

happy thanksgiving to you all!!! my sister and my youngest brother have been workin their hands off, making desserts. they smell/taste/look delicious.... i can't wait for tonight. my grandpa might be coming over tonight to partake in the feast which we will have prepared....... it is making me drool to think of it!

Today was the first day of school after my vacation. Augh!!!!! I do believe that latin is going to be the end of me. We hates it, my precious. (lol) I don't think that I'm going to like highschool much. One good thing, though, is that i start a new small group at church. My youth pastor is leading it. He is so cool. Anyhoo, aimless ranting......

If you recall, i mentioned that I am taking vioce lessons. There is a recital that I have to do, and I'll be singing "On My Own". I can't spell the musical that it is from, otherwise I'd have put it down. I can't wait. I'll probably be really nervous when the time comes, but until then, I shall be excited.

Well, I do think that is it. My grand parents fly out to visit my aunt and her fam in England on Thursday. have a wonderful week!!!!

there is so much updating i need to do, i don't know where to begin!!!! kinda sad, really....... anyhoo......

i don't know if i mentioned this before, but my dad's parents are here, visiting from africa. they are missionaries there, and no, they are not african themselves. my grandpa is british, and my grandma is french. they have been here for about a month and a half, or 2 months. something like that. they leave on september.

i am doing a new homeschool thing called classical conversations, so this past week i've been preparing for that. i'm wishing that peter pan could take me to neverland............ pointless wish, but nonetheless, i still want it to happen.

for those of you keeping up with my story (what i've blogged, anyway) rest assured, i am planing on putting new chapters in. can't say when, though. might be a while. idk.

 and i think that is it. i really need a nap before i go. ah!!! that reminds me. i'm taking voice lessons, too. forgot to mention that, obviously.

wow! i haven't been on here for a while!! well, here's what i've been up to..... :

i'm reading the history of the lord of the rings. it's quite interesting.

oh, my word!!!!! it was soooooooooooo hot today!!!!!!! but, my siblings and i found a way to stay cool. our neighbor came over, and we started to spray each other with the hose, fill up glasses and pour them on ourselves............... it was awsome. and really, really, REALLY fun.

this post is dedicated to my friend, josh, who died one year ago tonight. he was playing around in the basement of some new buildings behind his cousins house with his older sister and cousin, when the beam that he was swinging on fell on him. the beam had just been put there and not drilled into the concrete. please pray for his family, and especially for his cousin, justin, and his sister, who were both there when he died. pray that they will forget the horrible things that they saw that night.

there is a good deal of comotion in the kitchen right now. we are putting in a new stove that was once our youth pastor's, who is a family friend. tim dunn (that's the y.p.'s name) is cutting through our hideous countertop so the stove will fit.  the saw that he is using is absolutly deafning. (for those of you that know me personally, i'm acting a little strange for reason's unbeknowist to even myself; reading too much sherlock holmes can do that to you, i guess)

i have some wonderful news!!!!!! i am sponsering a child!!!!!!!!!!!! for thsoe of you that don't know, i've wanted to do this for a while now. his name is edwin, he is 6, and he lives in bolivia. he is sooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!! i can't wait to get my first letter from him.

i'm going to change the subject once more. i've seen recently on different blogs that steven curtis chapman and family has lost one their children. apperently, their teenage son ran over her with the car. i don't know when it was or any other details, but please pray for them, especially the teenage son, who is most likely feeling terrible right now.

prince caspian was awesome, imho. (In My Humble Opinion)  my sister thought otherwise. i'm not sure whether or not she blogged about it (check out her blog, her name is in my friends list; she goes by the name of mb13), but i can not bring up the subject without her telling me exactly what she thought of it. oh well. the acting was a little stiff in the beginning, i think. but it got better.we didn't get to see it at the midnight showing on thursday, but we got to go see it on the first ever showing on friday. for those of you that have not yet seen it, i shall say no more. i have no pictures to show because i'm really, really tired (and lazy) and i don't feel like hooking my camera up. i know, i'm a wimp. i'll post them later. my sister, one of my two brothers, and i are sick with a cold that my other brother got last week.  it seems like there was something else that i wanted to say, but i'm having a brain freeze right now............

i have a question for anyone and everyone. (actually, it's to the people who have blog's with different backrounds than the ones offered) how did you guys get those backrounds????? will you tell me how you did it?????? please and thank you???????

aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! i'm sooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm going to go see prince caspian tomorrow!!!!!!!!! my friend sophie invited my sister and i to see it for her birthday. we might be going to the midnight showing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't wait!!!!!!! (sophie, it better be good!!!!!!!!! hahahah, jk jk jk)

on a less interesting note, i have some pictures of my biology experement that my siblings, mom, and i did for school. we put raisins in a glass of water, left it on the fridge for the night, and then we looked at the now extremly-nasty-never-want-to-touch-or-look-at-again raisins.

the little floating things (and the things on the bottom of the glass) are the raisins.  sikko!!!!!

i'll take pictures of my trip to see caspian, and then i'll post them.

ok, since the second chapter in my story is exeptionally long, i will post it in three parts. parts one and two are not that long, but part three takes up many pages. so, without further ado, the second chapter in my title-less story, part one.

later that evening, i sat in my room on a purple mushroom chair, reading. i was at a good part.

'katie had a bad feeling about this. the dark alley looked like an ideal place for an ambush. "come on, girl," she thought, "you're a detective. pull yourself together.

she took a deep breath, brought her gun outof its holster, and steeled herself.

katie looked around. it was awfully quiet for a friday night in new york city. even the crikets that had made their way down into the subways and other such crevices were silent. she began to sweat.

"it's now or never," she said to herself, and she entered the ally.

it was a long passage way. when it got too dark to see, katie turned on her flashlight. at every dumpster, she went all the way around it to make sure no one was there. she started to relax when she never found anything.

when at long last katie reached the solid brick wall that ended the alley, she almost laughed at her fears. almost; but a sudden sound, like the crunch of someone stepping on a candy wrapper made her jump. she whirled around, back against the wall, gun ready to fire. all thoughts of security and relxation were replaced with horrible memories of the mystierious happenings of the past few weeks. with a trembling hand, katie scanned the place with her flashlight. there was nothing there.

foolishly thinking it was herself who'd made the noise, katie lowered her pistol.

instantly, strong fingers gripped her shoulders. katie stood rooted to the spot with fear. the thing in front of her was like something from a nightmare. the eyes; or rather, eye, was rolled back in it's socket; only the white showed. the smell of rotting flesh of some long dead thing filled katie's nostrils. it had come out of nowhere.

she tried to scream, but the sound stuck in her throat. the creature opned it's mouth and.....

BRRRIIINNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!

the phone rang.

i looked at my clock. it was ten-thirty. who the heck would call at this hour?

i picked up my orange phone and said, "hello?"

"finally!!! i've been trying to get a hold of you all day!!!!!" it was my friend, samantha.

"why?"

"waddaya mean 'why'? hellooooo!!!!! it is SATURDAY!!! don't i usually call you on saturdays?!?!?

"i've been gone most of the day; first to mom's interview, then we went shopping, THEN we had to go see tony."

"oh yeah! i'd forgotten about barb's possible job! so, how'd it go?"

"she got the job."

i winced and held the phone away from my ear. from the earpiece of the handheld, unearthly sounds that could only be screaming were heard.

when she was through, i didn't say anything for a while. sami noticed.

"ummm...alli? you still there?"

"i'm a little deafer, but i'm here."

"oh, come on, it wasn't that bad!"

"hm."

"so, gloomy guts, whatchya doin'?"

"i'm reading the book that mr. thompson gave us."

"you're actually reading that stupid book?!?"

"hey, it's a book. what can i say?"

"how is it?"

"predictable, but slightly bone chilling nonetheless. i'm almost done."

"really? i can't get past the second chapter."

"then you better start reading. bye."

i hung up the phone and returned to my seat. i picked up the book and read until i couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

so, what did you think? i hope you aren't asleep right now. if you are, i'm sorry.
