Writing Class: Lesson 3
I hope this character will be wanted in a book. I've read that stories reflect what the author is, I suppose it's the same thing with characters. Jalina reflects a bit of what I am
.
Character:Jalina Clatt
Physical Characteristics: Aged 11; deep brown, with hints of hazel hair that was recently cut. Medium colored skin, pretty tall and skinny.Her family is between rich and poor.
Personality: Very friendly and she can't keep her temper up.When she is angry, she doesn't think. Diligent and colorfully creative.
Likes and dislikes: Jalina likes reading books, playing the piano and making projects. She dislikes brushing her hair when it is tangled up, wearing skirts and dresses, and washing the dishes.

Character: Lilane Sash
Physical Characteristics: Age 11; her family is very rich. Blackish-gray eyes, deeply tanned skin, admiringly pretty. Long, black, and wavy hair that is paper-thin and glossy. Rather agile, tall, delicate, and athletic.
Personality: Cruel and deceptive, harshly sarcastic. Lil is determined, destructive, spoiled, and scheming.A cleverly two-faced only child.
Likes and dislikes: Treasures pampering her cat, Snow,wearing makeup and expensive dresses. Loathes anyone who stands in her way of doing something she wants, and reading books.

Both are vibrant personalities and I suspect we'll see many conflicts between jalina and lilane. He-he! Conflicts make a story fun and exciting to read--as long as the conflict is meaningful (has something to do with the plot and not just have conflicts for the sake of having conflicts).
You've added some unique traits to your main character and your main "bad guy" character. I see that Lilane is 'determined' which seems to be her only redeeming quality. LOL
Does she have any kind of weakness? Maybe something she doesn't want anyone to know about? Even the mean characters have a tiny gleam of positive and the chance that they may somehow come around. :-)
Sorry it took so long to comment. I've been in sunny california. now I'm back in rainy washington. sigh. But it is good to be home.
