Wolves of Willoughby Chase
Nutshell Summary: Bonnie's parents leave , and cruel governess Slighcarp takes whatever money she could take. Sent to an orphan school, Bonnie and her cousin Sylvia plan to escape and take back Willoughby chase.
Hook: Bonnie Green is an impulsive, sweet, wildcat-spirited girl, with a delicate, ladylike, cousin Sylvia.
Problem: Parents need to leave on a sea voyage, and Mrs Slighcarp comes and dismiss servants.
Up: Sylvia finds a secret corridor.
Down: Miss Slighcarp sends them to an ill-treated orphan school.
Up: Simon, the gooseboy, Bonnie's friend, comes to help prepare them to escape.
Down: Sylvia gets very sick.
Up: The girls escape with Simon, and arrive at elderly Aunt Jane's.
CLIMAX: Aunt Jane is sick and unconious, they see one of Miss Slighcarp's accomplices named Mr Grimshaw, enter Bonnie's father's lawyer named Gripes', office, and discover that Bonnie's parents' ship sunk.
Resolution: They find a doctor willing to help Aunt Jane, catch Mr Grimshaw trying to break in Aunt Jane apartment bring him to the police and get their help (including the Gripes who they found out is good) to save Willoughby Chase.
Satisfying Ending: Slighcarp is thrown into prison, and Mr and Mrs Green ( Bonnie's parents) survive the shipwreck then returned home.
