Sep. 4, 2007 - First Day!!
We had such a good day. Our first day of the Charlotte Mason style and we all like it. It took us 3 hours but didn't seem like it at all. Our math was dif. than most days cuz of the introduction and all. Won't usually take that long. They went on a Nature Walk. They really like their language stuff. Not a bunch of needless work. I want to get more versed in the CM style and will do that over time. I have a wonderful lady who lives and owns a HS store near us who is big on the CM style. I have learned from her. I also really like the Sally Queen books.
Now, off for me to relax a few and finish my coffee.

I pray your day goes great today!!! Ours is going to be a little longer, I think. DS says it is too easy. So it may be time to step it up some! KWIM?

Wow! I just went back and read your first post and you are actually not far from us. Maybe an hour? We have some friends that moved here from Monroe (homeschool family) several years ago.
I also have an 11 yr old son but it sounds like he may be more natured like your 10 yr old:)
So glad you had a good first day in school. Oh, and I added you to my friends list:)
