God's grace has given me hope for today, and strength for tomorrow. Somehow I missed God's grace ..... and I guess I have been hanging on just by His, well, you know, by His grace!!

Even though I had missed God's grace, God was still faithful and bestowed His grace upon me, although I didn't understand that ...... Does that make sense to anyone?

I am coming to a deeper understanding of God's word ..... Our pastor has been going through the book of Romans for the past few months. We just finished chapter seven. One of the themes that our pastor teaches is, guess what?, "Grace!"

Learning more about the grace of God has given me back my sanity, and now I can face each day with renewed hope and strength, and I can even look at myself in the mirror with confidence.

Another test of my faith tonight ..... Our front bathroom flooded, and it flooded really good!! What a terrible mess ..... I've been up for several hours cleaning, mopping. I called the landlord and hopefully a plumber will be out in the morning to fix the problem. Thank God we have another bathroom in the back. I took the day off work to continue cleaning and wait for the plumber.

I start my new job, working graveyard, today. I'm somewhat excited to be working with a recovery program, Nirvana. I just hope that I can get used to working graveyard. Haven't worked the night shift for about 20 years.
