Meet the Parents

Hey, that's us...we are the parents! We got together with the Grandmother (Babushka-bio mother's mother), Aunt Lubov (bio mother's sister) and Lubov's son ? and daughter Nastya (cousins), brother Roma (about 27 - maybe different father) and his wife and their son ?, Sister Youlia (maybe different father). Babushka was born in South Urals (mountain range) in Russia. I believe the town is Chelyabinsk. We wrote down proper english spelling of names, birth dates, and relations as best we could. They made it clear that the father was not to be discussed in their presence.

Went pretty well. We felt like we were in front of the judge again, but it was good that they showed interest and concern. Babushka and Aunt Lubov were very thankful, sweet, and gracious. Pics below:

You are lucky that you got to meet the biological family, it is a memory that everyone can hold dear forever. It must seem like a strange situation for a child though, I can't imagine.
