Today I completed making two puzzle mats. A puzzle mat is great item that makes it easier to move and store a puzzle that is in the works of being completed. The full directions can be found at Organized Christmas. These are super easy and very quick to make:
The velcro straps that I am using I found at the fabric store:
And here is a close-up of how the ends of the rolls are finished. I'm not super crazy about how the ends of the roll look but I haven't thought of anything better so I will go with this.
These along with a new puzzle are going to make very nice and inexpensive gifts.
The puzzle pieces actually do stay nicely rolled up inside the felt so you can easily
move it out of the way to eat dinner at the table
