Jul. 12, 2007 - Pickin' and Snappin' ~ I feel rather musical
Early this morning I met my dad in his vegetable garden to pick beans. We picked about fifteen pounds in half an hour! Just me and my dad...hanging out in the garden together...pickin' beans.
Brought them home...and started snappin'...brought back memories of sitting with my sister in front of a CBS special while we plucked off the ends, broke 'em in two, and plunked hundreds of beans into mom's big green bowl.
So, today, I get to relive a bit of the past. A happy bit. And, I'll be hummin' all the while.

My mom had a big green bowl too that we snapped beans into!! So glad to get a peek into your life again! Your boys are so cute! Thanks for stopping my blog :)
