Dec. 17, 2007 - Gingerbread Lapbook
Some of these pictures are a bit blurry (still not sure about my camera).
Elijah made the front cover on Jan Brett's website and Jason sized it and printed it for us.
Book as first opened. Candy house on the left shown open below:

Elijah wanted to put a gingerbread "baby" in his house instead of the word find and list.
This book was so much fun to make...Elijah loves it!
First file folder opened
left- gingerbread man words hotdog book (from Evan Moore Pockets), Gingerbread Cards (memory/matching game)
middle- One Yummy Gingerbread Man Book, The Gingerbread Man mini book (Evan Moore)

Second file folder opened
left- puppet in pocket (Evan Moore)
middle- Gingerbread Man rhyming
right- G is for... sorting game, My Gingerbread Story Pocket (Elijah wrote "The GIngerbread Man Meets the Birds of Prey")
Lift the rhyming gingerbread man and find Jan Brett's board game--
Third file folder opened
left- story sequencing cards in pocket, My Gingerbread Family pocketbook

Look! It's our family-- gingerbread style!

He is getting to be great at word finds! Elijah did this one all by himself.
