Announcement: Nehemiah

A lovely blogger mentioned she'd be interested in Nehemiah, if it went slowly, and if I was willing. I've been thinking about this, and I believe slow may be how I need to go right now, too. And, I am so willing!
For those of you who are interested, I plan to include several entries on the book of Nehemiah over time. I envision this being something that might be a blessing to read, even if you are not as deeply "invested" in the study as I will be. It's okay to read along, even if it's not fitting into your plans for the day for your quiet time with God. I share freely, of course. Feel free to drop in to see what's going on as this moves along.
Of course, I'm a creature created for fellowship. But, you knew that, right? Those who desire to read along, study, and discuss. . .I'm all over that like white on rice! *grin*
I'm pretty sure this won't qualify for daily effort. Perhaps I'll work through portions of it once or twice a week. If I really get motivated, it may be more. I'd like to make this manageable for all of us, including myself. I hope this will not be a heavy yoke anyone feels they have to take on. It's not. I wouldn't want to burden anyone. If you join in and comment, know that I will read every one. I will even discuss within the comments area on this one, so you may want to check to see if anything new has been added as a result of dialog on any given entry.

Our first "study" will pertain to Nehemiah 1. The whole chapter may or may not "fit" within an entry. I hope that telling you where I'm going provides plenty of time for your own reading and self-study prior to my thoughts. If nothing else, you'll be familiar with the passage. *grin*
