Yesterday was our last day of school! Yay! Our family tradition has been to go to Breadeaux Pizza and Norman presents certificates to our boys. This year, instead of going to our local Breadeaux, our boys wanted to go back to the one where we used to live. We don't get over to our old stomping grounds very often since it is an hour away, so we thought that it would be fun to do this, for old time’s sake.
On our way over, the boys enjoyed seeing familiar landmarks. Once we got to town, we drove by our old house. A person never knows what to expect when visiting old homesteads, but we were pleasantly surprised to see that it looked pretty much the way it did when we moved. We also drove by some of the other places that we used to walk to, like the train depot, fish pond, and the library. Then, we stopped and had a nice visit with one of Norman's old co-workers.
Finally, we made it to Breadeaux Pizza and carried out our fun little traditions...
“UGH! Why can’t you do something to help me?”
“Why sure, Ollie, what would you like? A little TUMS for the tum-tum?”
“Just smile and repeat after me, ‘I am NOT embarrassed, I am NOT embarrassed’.”

“Now, where was that EXIT sign?”
After stuffing ourselves with breadsticks and ice cream, we played around up on the square...

That's all, folks! J
