CREATIVE BLOGGER AWARD
We have been awarded the Creative Blogger Award by Steph at Tribe of Autodidacts. She handed out awards to 5 different people and this is what she said about us:
"Connie Ward at Ward’s Sward was another of my first bloggin’ buddies. Her web log is a collaborative effort between Connie, her husband Norman, and their two boys. It features their funny and clever writing, photographic accounts of field trips, reflections on their faith, occasional poetry, and other things. Their two boys, S. & J., are creative learners. S. reminds me of my son James, even down to his affinity for Calvin and Hobbes."
Thank you, Steph, for your kind and encouraging words!
The original rules for giving this award state that we must pass it on to 5 others who…
“…bring unique and creative elements to their blogs. For those who incorporate art, music, creative writing, photos, and other beautiful visual effects into their website. For those who put a unique spin on things and come up with new ideas. This award is for the artsy, the funky, the inventor, and even the rebel. This award is for those creative individuals who stand out from the crowd.”
Being a recipient of other awards and observing the rules exactly as stated, I have decided to bend the rules a little this time. I have my favorite blogsites that I enjoy visiting often and tend to pass these awards on to them. Seeing that most of these have already been awarded this specific one already, I figured it’s time to get some “new blood” in here. So, relatively speaking, I have chosen to pass the Creative Blogger Award on to only one person… my niece!
Congratulations to Sarah at Apache ‘n’ Sarah’s Brood! My niece is fairly new to blogging, but she has already created quite a nice little website to call “home”. Her creativity that she exhibits in real life is captured in her posts. One specific creative endeavor was to come up with a new character for Veggie Tales, which Sarah hopes that they will one day use. This is just a sampling of her many talents! I’m looking forward to reading her future posts. Go on over and say “hi” and “congrats” to my sweet niece.
