Nope... Norman hasn't found a job yet.
With all the resumes he has sent out, phone calls he has made, ads he has scoured, people he has visited, there are just no jobs available right now.
After awhile, a person starts wondering...
"Maybe my approach is all wrong."
"My cover letter must have sounded dumb."
"Hmmm... Maybe I shouldn't have told her that."
"Should I call him again? I hate to keep bugging him."
It could just mean that the timing isn't right.
Or, then again, maybe appearance makes a bigger difference than we thought. He polished his shoes and cleaned his nails. What else could it be? A tie? Perhaps that's it! Eureka!!! We've found it!! He needs to wear a tie!
