Here's a funny story!
My dad and stepmom had driven out to California last week for a wedding. On their way back home to Idaho on Saturday, they stopped at a motel in Utah for the night. While watching the political news on tv, they recognized a couple of people whom they knew... and are related to! It was my nephew and his wife! They had gone to hear Gov. Huckabee at a rally in Indianola, Iowa. My nephew's wife told me later that there were cameras from all over and that the cameraman right next to them was from France!
You can imagine how surprised my dad must have been to see his grandson (from Iowa) on tv in Utah! Thankfully, my dad thought to snap a picture with his camera phone. Here it is:
My nephew is the one with the cap and his wife is next to him (with glasses on). He's the all-around Iowa boy... and homeschooled, too! :-)
