Our little baby kitten, Prancie, is now 9 weeks old and has really been growing!  She tends to be a "scaredy-cat" and gets spooked easily, but once she gets warmed up to us, she is very fun and entertaining!

The apples are from our neighbor's tree.  Samuel once saw Prancie's mom run from their backyard with an apple in her mouth about a week ago.  Since then, we've been finding more apples in our yard.  I guess she brings them over for her little one to play with.

Here Prancie is with her momma:

"Yes, Prancie dear, you look just as cute as your mom."

"You might be getting older, but not too old for a good lickin'."

These cleaning sessions usually turn into wrestling matches.  Since Prancie's mother is barely out of kittenhood herself, she has been really good at playing with her baby... especially since Prancie has no brothers or sisters to tussle around with.  It's funny to watch them pounce and flop around with each other.

Prancie has also outgrown the playground that the boys made for her, so they decided to upgrade:

And, just in case you noticed, Joshua is still working on his first kitty house project.  He tends to be a perfectionist and since he can't get it "just right" (too much glue... not enough glue... this looks bad... etc.), it still didn't get finished.  But, Samuel got his new and improved (and much larger!) playground done, so out it goes to be tested...

Once again, it was approved by Prancie... and her mother.
