Our little kitty, Prancie, has not only made her way into our hearts, but also into our home.

Not permanently, mind you, since Norman is allergic to cats. But, she gets to come inside at least once a day to warm up, play a little and then head back out into the frigid outdoors with a bowl of fresh, warm milk for her tummy.
This is her first winter and she loves playing in the snow! When we received the nice, fluffy stuff last week, she would charge through it and send the white, sparkly flakes flying up into the air. The ice was a different story, though. Our whole backyard became frozen! All of the fluffy stuff and anything that had previously moved was now cemented securely into place.
The morning after the storm, I let Prancie in to get warmed up. When I put her back out, she just stood there and stared. She looked so bored! I watched her through the window as she moved out a ways, stopped and then headed right back toward the house. It was so comical to watch her! And, yes, I let her back inside. J
Prancie knows her limits in the house, but sometimes she will test us. House rules include not scratching the furniture, not going into the bedrooms (since the carpet on the side of the bed of a certain person who is allergic to cats got initiated once and it took quite a few scrubbings and sprayings of Febreeze to completely eliminate the problem), and not jumping up on countertops and the table.

But, she has plenty of fun chasing marbles, playing with yarn or anything else that looks interesting... and needs attacked.

Prancie also loves all the attention she receives from the boys... even when they play "Catch the Tiger":
"Laadieees and gentlemen! Before your very eyes, you will see the world's most vicious and ferocious tiger!"
"Pull the curtain, please."

The audience gasps as the tiger tries to escape from its cage, and then...

I'm not sure who was more surprised. J
