My daughter and I have started taking a knitting class at our local library.  We meet once a week.   Our first project was a dish cloth.  It was hard to get the hang of holding the needles and guiding them through the loops, etc.  But toward the end of the project, it was getting easier.  The instructor said that as I get better at knitting, the tension will get better and it will look nicer.  Right now, my square looks like a diamond, but that is o.k.
