Imagination is intellegence having fun

Guess what I'm watching in half and hour!!
Hatching Pete is on tonight and I am so excited.
You're probably saying: What, you still get excited about Disney fluff?
Well yeah, so what? I'm me and you're you, right? I've gotten to the stage where I don't really care anymore what other people think.
I don't know about anywhere else but there is a huge identity crisis in Hawke's Bay. Every girl has the same hairstyle and the same clothes. It's crazy. Oh, if you have time check out this music video if you haven't already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rffGPHVoo4s Arg!! Dumb HSB! It doesn't let me upload it straight onto here. Oh, well you'll have to watch it the hard way buy actually typing the URL. Don't blame me, blame HSB. My friends know I DO NOT cry easily but this video really had it in for me.
Anyway, back to Hatching Pete. Has anybody seen it yet? What did you think? Oh, and have you seen the extended ending of Dadnapped? I really want to see it.
Also (more Disney fluff) you guys know Haley Joel Osment right? Of course you do. Well his fame and fortune might be over for now but did you know he has a younger sister who is on her way to becoming even more famous then he was? Emily Osment is the most talented young actress I know and has been nominated for this month's Talented Young People Award. You can vote by going to his website www.talentedyoungpeople.com

Back from NYDS
Woow! NYDS was a blast. I met so many new people it was too sad to say good bye. I was in the Screen Acting class with 11 other students.
The school had a large amount of students from England who attended and one of them was in my class.
Of all the students in my class only 2 were boys. (Interesting)
Anyway, we were like one big family. Everyone got on with eachother and our tutors were like our parents.
I learnt so much everday. The bus picked us up at 8am every morning and we left at 4:30. (That was the school day). And then we went back out again at 7pm for the fun night.
Disco on the last night that only ended at 1am! It was so much fun.
We also billited a girl from Christchurch. I was a bit nervious that she'd be some wierd drama queen and be full of herself but she was the best billet I could ever ask for. It was like I finally had a big sister.
And at the end of it all I have a DVD to take home that has my scene in it and all the other student's performances on it.
I would fully recomend this school if you live somewhere in New Zealand and if you're into drama. But they don't just do drama. They also do songwriting, stage combat (like, hitting eachother without actually hurting them), circus skills, radio drama. It's great!
My friends just waved it off when I told them about trying to get into film acting but I am defenatly coming back next year.

Looking forward to some stuff
First off, Happy Valentines day! Or should I say, "Singles Awareness day". Not that I'm complaining or anything. Pffft. That's crazy talk.
Moving on...
For all those in America, you get to watch Dadnapped in only two days! Actually it's probably three, with the time difference and everything. Us New Zealanders have to wait until the 28th. Bummer.
I'm also looking forward to the National Youth Drama School 09. I know it's only in April but I'm counting down the days. I had to save up most of the money myself with a $100 contrabution from my generous parents. Now I've only got $215 to go. *puff*
There is a really cool Christian camp in Fielding in April but it's quite expensive. And because I'm saving every penny for Drama School I'm broke. The only reason I really want to go to this one is because I made some friends and the Mission Impossible camp in November last year who said they were going to the Fielding camp. I was hoping to see them then but I guess I'm just going to have to wait for November again.

Such a short life
Precious passed away yesterday. Jessica (my sister) is really upset. The lady that owned that aviary says she has no idea how he could have died. He was fine just the day before.
That's why this is so short. No other news deserves to come along with this entry. Maybe I'll write again tomorrow.

Things are looking up
Hey there,
An update on Precious: We found an aviary that could take care of him and he's just down the road so we can visit him whenever we want. He'll still let us feed him while he sits on our hand. If we didn't have a cat that would have eaten him in a second we would have kept him for sure.
I just came back from a library meeting. There are going to be allot of changes there soon so anyone in the Hawkes Bay area keep your eyes open for some new stuff in the Young Adult Section. And the best thing is we are asking kids what they think we should change and there have been some really good ideas.
Anyway, I'm off to watch the final of the DC Games. (Go Mitchell!!)

A new addition to the family
Yep, you heard right we have a new addition to our family. And he is the cutest thing in the world. My sister named him Precious. He's half grown and I suspect he escaped from someone's aviary. He doesn't mind us picking him up in fact one time my brother was playing on the PlayStation and Precious decided to just perch on his head! Unbelievable.
