Aug. 16, 2009 - Luke's Mini Office

This was my first attempt at making a "mini office".  I attached everything with Velcro and left some blank spaces so we can add or change things as we go through the year.

On the Left Side I have  the Solar System, How To Write a Paragraph, & the Books of the Bible:

In the center, a home-made pocket chart for the date, a holder for his ruler, page protector pockets for his current work & memory verse (That's his copy work for the first day of school.), a list of what's on his calendar for the week, and an extra spot just for something fun:

On the right side, a Roman Numerals Chart, Cursive Alphabet, Multiplication Table, Parts of Speech, and a list of the American Presidents:

Hey darling, you may want to edit that photo that has your son's full name, addy, and phone number in it-you never know what weirdos are strolling by the blogs...just a safety thought...

ooh I love the idea of attaching things in mini offices with velcro! Mine are all glued down, oh well, next time!

I'm getting ready to make a mini office, and I wanted to do it with velcro, but I was concerned that file folders would be too flimsy for that much bulk. Great idea to use the science fair boards. I think I'll try that with mine!
