Words, words, words

• Jun. 26, 2007 - Servers, kids, and a dance

May I start off by saying, "I LOVE the new server!"  Before, I couldn't get to any blogs 4 out of 5 tries.  Now I have no problem whatsoever.  Good job to whoever worked it out!

For the time being, we are foster-kid-less.  The 3 children we were watching got to go home to their Grandma and Mom, which is what we were all praying for.

We had a fun time at Veronica G.'s party last Saturday.  After much prayer and searching, the G.s found the perfect place to have their dance.  I love watching all the young people out there dancing.  They're a great group of kids (and young adults!)  Kurt and I even took a turn or two on the floor.  Jen Ig has the evidence posted on her blog.

Here is the skirt and top Rachel made for Emily.  This is fulfilling a promise I made years ago to make her a Cinco de Mayo outfit.  Rachel bailed me out!

Emmiko and I were dueling with cameras!

John Mark and Daniel just being themselves!

Nathaniel "pleading" with Heather.  Is he asking to be picked or left with the hat?

Jaime has a tough choice to make between two lovely 18 year olds, Coie and Emily!

Everyone looked very gussied up and happy! Was it to commemorate a special occasion?

Hi!

We loved Emily's outfit (good job, Rachel!) and we went to the other site and saw you and Kurt. You look so cute with your pony tail and outfit! Kurt, of course, is always dashing and still my favorite son-in-law!

See, this is why we all love your blog!!!!!

Love, Mom (no MRI!!)

Queen, it was a birthday party for Veronica, who turned 21 this year. We have a group of homeschool friends who love old-fashioned English dancing (think Jane Austen) and Scottish country dancing. Usually the parties have a specific time period as far as dress goes. This one was whatever time period you wanted to dress. The nice thing is there's no pressure. If someone wants to dress period-style, they can. Otherwise, we can wear whatever we usually wear to church.

Mom, Rachel is in the picture of Emmiko. She just has her back to the camera. She tends to be camera shy, like her mom!
