So I've been thinking, and praying... and praying, and thinking, and I think it'd be best if I cut way back on blogging. Yes, I know what you're thinking... "But you already have!!" I know... but I mean maybe we could turn this blog into more of a 'article/magazine' type thing. Micah and I could write about the history of music - how certain instruments developed, biographies on composers and musicians, etc. What do y'all think? Would y'all enjoy that more than an empty little blog? :) I know I would enjoy it more. I would also learn stuff while blogging, whereas right now, I'm just kind-of... doing it, and not enjoying it all that much.
Micah's on vacation right now, so it's kind-of hard to discuss this with her at the moment. But as soon as we get things figured out, we'll post to let you know.
Please give us any thoughts or suggestions you might have, as it will help us make our decision.
That actually sounds pretty cool!! And then y'all could use your personal blogs for stuff like you post on here. Maybe y'all's blogs would have more entries on them that way. ;)
Anyways, I'm all for it!! It would definitely help out in orchestra!
I meant it would be cool knowing why some instruments transpose and some don't and why some read in different clefs than others. AND knowing more about different composers helps us play pieces better because we know more about how he would've wanted it to sound like.
Actually I enjoyed The Princess Bride very much. It made my laugh so hard. :) You've got to admit though, it was sorta cheesy. lol.
Anyway, how have you been?
