First Blog entry

It is incredibly windy today, so much so that the children and I couldn't sleep last night.  My husband, of course, could sleep through a freight train tearing through the house.  We must be experiencing 50 mph winds at least.  So I guess this means autumn is finally here thank the Lord.  Goodbye rattlesnakes and grasshoppers!

I began the morning with allergies, which makes me less than ambitious for homeschooling or housework.  I have muddled through my Charlotte Mason literature and checked my CM support groups for inspiration.  My husband is gone for the day so it's just the kids and I and no plans to go outside, which means lots of arts and crafts, a new bible story to learn and maybe a little Mozart.

It's so windy that I even have our dog, Sue, in the house so that she can recover from her javelina attack injuries.  Poor thing she is just miserable.

I'm so excited to start blogging - not that I have an audience of course, but perhaps it will help inspire me to start journaling again.

God Bless everyone today!   - Michelle

Hi, I just started blogging last month. It's fun to get comments so here I am to comment. I just started homeschooling this Fall with my kindergartner. I also have a 3 year old. It's nice to know other mom's "out there" who are struggling with the same day to day stuff. Right now I am letting my kids run around like banshees while I write you. I better go it's cupcake time!
Have fun!
