They Sing His Praises

Thank you Heidi for teaching me how to do links!!

Eli was sick Sunday with his first little bubbles-blowing-from-his-nose cold. Poor guy. Anyway, I decided to keep him home from church. I'm always bummed when I don't get to go to church, but that certainly didn't stop me from worshipping God! As I sat on the porch swing and looked out upon this, I was in amazement at the beauty He has created. For Him. For us. Peaceful and quiet, yet echoing His praises. Thank you, God!

We live right in town, so I just see a main street and some houses from mine. Oh, and lots of cars~ and the occasional horse & buggy (we live in Amish country). But, I still enjoy sitting out there. There's just something about porch swings that is so relaxing.

So, how is Eli doing now...I didn't get to speak with you Monday, so I forgot all about the Times Tales book you were bringing for me to look at. I think I really need some help with this 4th grader and getting organized. I love your picture of the barn. I miss my old porch swing and wish I could afford to get another one. I would be singing praises and having occasional naps on mine too.

It is so wonderful to see God's hand and talent all around us, isn't it? I hope to teach my boys to see God in the every day...not just on Sunday and sitting at church!
