I had a quick checkup yesterday and Dr said that I am not dilated AT ALL. 
I've been having cx all week and cervical twinges and still NOTHING?!?

Dr wants to check placenta health before we decide what to do next so...
I go today for a NST and an U/S. 
If all looks good, we wait another week and then test again before we try induction at 42 weeks. 
If anything looks iffy, we schedule a c-section. 
Dr said he won't induce if the placenta is not fully healthy.  He said that a pooped-out placental is often what leads to fetal distress during labor and then I'd end up with a c-section anyways.

I have peace about the possibility of a c-section. 
It's not my first choice (obviously) but at this point, I just want a healthy baby on the OUTSIDE of my body.   At least the waiting and wondering would be over with a set date. (sigh)

Well see what today's apt holds...

Okay, back from the dr:
The U/S showed lots of clear healthy fluid and an active baby with head engaged. WooHoo
The NST showed a consistant heartrate of 140, even through a couple good cx.  WooHooAgain
Baby looks great and placenta is still functioning as it should.  So, we wait.

I'm feeling the 9th, for some reason.  When I look at my calendar, it looks like baby's birthday.  I know it's silly and I'm probably wrong, but I think we may have a baby on the 9th.  Well see.

I'm sorry you haven't progressed more. I remember that frustration and thought that Iceman would never arrive. Continuing to keep you and your babe in prayer.
