Today was Ballet Technique, and I feel totally alive from the workout. Jessica pretty much kicked me out because I was being way too hyper and she wants to sleep, so here I am. Okay, so I am pretty much in a bind. Jess laughs at me and says I'm being hopelessly silly, but I don't really care. Well, usually they keep the boys and girls pretty seperate here. Boys can't go in girl dorms, and vice-versa, and boys and girls have their own classes. But- in the residence lounge, where I am right now, guys and girls mix freely. Not without supervision, but freely, and we girls catch sight of guys between classes and at lunch hall. And there's this guy who's a really great dancer and very good-looking. (AND he's straight. It's sad but most guys in ballet are not.) I don't really even know his name, I just know that his hair is dark brown and he has the bluest eyes I have ever seen. The downside? Practically every girl in my suite is in love with him. Oh, what is his name? It's something with a J... not John... oh, I don't know. Speaking of John... well, he's a major problem in all of this. I've been here for quite a while and I've only gotten ONE lousy email from him. I dont' know what's wrong. The twins don't speak of him in their emails at all, which I find strange because John is Jarrod's best friend. It could have something to do with what happened the day I left for SAB.. but no, it couldn't, cause I don't know how the twins coulda found out... Unless John told them.. eek, that would be bad.. okay, sorry, just random thinking to myself moment there ignore it. Anyway, I'm hopelessly torn up about all fo this, especially since I only got truly interested in boys about a year ago and my first and only crush so far has been John, so this is really all-new for me. Jess is right, I AM sad... oh well. Any advice will be accepted! Okay, I gotta go eat cause my stomcah is rumbling ..haha the guy at the next computer is lookign at me strangely cause my stomach just complained REALLY loudly.... So I'll post later! Toodles!

Well, I've been at The Academy for a while, and I LOVE it. The work is exhausting, but way worth it. I have Ballet Technique on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Pointe on Tuesdays, Variation on Tuesdays, and Music on Saturday mornings. I share a room with a girl named Jessica. We are getting to be pretty good friends, actually. The dorm building is AMAZING! There'scoin-operated washers and dryers, a kitchen, a library, a computer lab, and two (TWO!) TV lounges that anyone can use at any time. We have 24 hr adult supervision, and have to sign in/out, plus the cerfew is pretty strict, but otherwise it's really sweet. We have somethign that's called "Fun Fridays," where we all go to see a broadway musical or a performance done by the NYC Ballet Company, or just go see the sights. Sometimes we go to soup kitchens, etc, b/c they believe we need to have a "Well rounded education." I enjoy it, actually, but a lot of the girls moan and complain. There's a program called DANCE here, and it's for our education. we all have to do it- DANCE stands for Diversity, Alcohol & Drug Education, Nutrition & Wellness, Community Service, and Explorations.. fun, i know. Oh, the Alcohol & Drug Ed is the worst! We get lectured by a bald guy on the evils of that sort of stuff and how we can ruin our careers as dancers by drinking. I mean, it's good that they're doing that, but why does the guy ahve to be so FREAKING BORING!?!?!?! lol There's so much more, but it's cerfew, and i gotta get up to my dorm. I don't have very much time to write, but.. Dance school starts Monday, I'll be in NY for the next nine months. Everything has been so hectic- Jeremy moved out, I've been packing like CRAZY, mom is into her fourth month, Aliyah and Andrew's birthdays were yesterday.... whoo, I'm worn out! long time no write! I'm sorry, but I've been really busy.... I have HUGE news tho! My mom is pregnant! We found out last week, but I haven't had time to write. it's really crazy around here... guess what else??????? I'M FIFTEEN AS OF TWO DAYS AGO!!!!! Louisa and Grandfather are still here- as a matter of fact Louisa is looking over my shoulder and correcting my spelling as I speak! Louisa and Jarrod are inseperable. haha, Louisa wants me to erase that but I won't! I think it's amazing what she's doing for my brother... I love her so much! So much stuff has been going on. Jeremy has started a band. He's the lead singer/guitarist, Jarrod's the bassist, and John is the pianist... Speaking of John, he's amazing! He called me yesterday, all excited, because he had listened. Our conversation went something like this- "Hey, is Vanessa there?" "This is she." "Hey! Guess what?" "hey, John. What?" "Well, have you ever listened?" "What do you mean?" "I mean, just sit outside and listen. Be really quiet and perfectly still and just.. listen. Have you ever done that?" "I don't think so, actually. Why?" "I did that today, Nessa, and it was amazing! I think- I think I might have actually heard God!" "Really? that's so cool, John!" "I know, it blew me away... you should go outside and listen." "now?" "Yes, now, go listen! And call me back if you hear anything!" Then he hung up... and you know what? When I got away from the chaos which is our house and just sat and listened, it really was amazing. And even though I didn't hear God speak to me, I found it easier to talk to him when I was out there listening. It was easier to connect... It was awesome... I highly recommend it! Oop, gotta go, Grandfather's calling me. but hopefully I'll be able to update more often.. there's so much more to tell you but that must wait for another time. I'm glad all of you liked my song. There's a whole lot more, actually, so I'll try to share one wiht you any time I can. Guess what!?!?!?!?! My birthday is at the end of this month!!!! I am going to be fifteen, I'm so excited! We aren't going to have a huge party or anything, but Louisa and Grandfather are coming back up from Chile! I'm really happy about that, especially since it's made a huge change in Jarrod. He's been going around whistling and doesn't yell at us if we bother him. It's almost as if he's walking on air- everything just rolls off his back, and he's actually leaning towards the sappy side!!! It's so sweet to watch! Jeremy is too caught up in his own problems to really care about anything. Apparently all the girls in the dance studio think he's.... ahem, uh, "happy" if you know what I mean..... and won't have anything to do with him. So right now he's sulking. Hmm... other news... OH! Jeremy and Jarrod's birthday is next week. They'll be eighteen!!!! WOW!!! Talk about scary! Jarrod has already sent in some college applications, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that he gets accepted somewhere! Jeremy has decided to move out, and is looking for apartments. I keep on reminding him not to count his chickens before they hatch, but he scoffs at me, saying "you're only a little fourteen year old girl. What would you know?" Haven't been on in a while- so sorry! You know, I just realised that I never told you about my ventures as Clara. It was amazing. I messed up a few times, but i don't think anyone noticed... I hope no one noticed. The costumes were great, everyone danced very, very well, AND we got a standing ovation at the end! AH, show biz! lol BUT I have yet to tell you the best part... THE GERM HAS BEEN SIGNED UP FOR BALLET!!!!!!!! It all started when he was skateboarding out in front of the Theatre, waiting for the rest of us to come out. Well, the head manager/teacher of our dance school saw him, and was apparently watching him for a while. She approached him, saying, "I really like your style and balance. Have you ever considered taking up dancing?" Jeremy said no, of course, but she kept at it and finally talked to our parents, who agreed that it would "expand Jeremy's horizons." Thus, he is in a beginner's Ballet class- a seventeen year old boy among nine year old girls. I'm laughing too hard to have any pity whatsoever at his unfortunate fate. Oh, gotta go. The Germ's home from classes :)... need to see how his first day was. Ta ta! NESSA

I keep on trying to type in a new entry- but every time my dad needs on the computer and I have to exit out of homeschoolblogger before I can finish! Well, he's at work, so I'm going to try and make a new entry! I would die if anyone saw those movies. I was an evil queen, complete with black lipstick and velvet cloak.... not exactly flattering. Anyway, I'm bored. Nothing much is happening. Dance is out for the summer, and I'm loving being able to sleep in on saturdays. lol! John is over, and my brothers are being really childish, "spying" (not very well, I might add) on me and my post. well, sorry ta dissapoint you, boys, I'm not writing anything juicy! I am bored. I went to visit some cousins in Colorado for Friday thru yesterday.. but now I'm back! It was mucho fun! Have any of you ever been to Colorado? The mountains are goregous, but the weather was a bit weird. It would be sunny one moment, raining the next, and once it even snowed! We went for a drive up in the mountains, and I must say that the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It was my first time out of state, and I throughly enjoyed it. We had many, many adventures, and made three "movies"- The Prince, The Thief, and The Girl. They're kind of a trilogy. They stink, but we did our best! Well, now I'm home, and I'm dead tired. I arrived just last night, around three in the morning. Even though I slept in until 1:00 today I'm still tired! I'll write more later- right now I'm going to take a nap! NESSA |

The thing in the sack was hissing and managed to tear the sack, and even though the old man was desperately trying to keep holding it the thing inside leaped out onto the dark street running straight to the riverside. Then the thing turned around and ate the man. The thing then began to sing "Oh! Gravity" to the tune of "Go Tell Aunt Ruth". The thing was actually a very large cat th@ loved to eat ppl... It had already ate two ppl th@ day. It then sat down and started licking it's paws. It then began prowling around the riverside, looking for food along the riverside. Suddenly, the boards underneath it shattered, plunging it into darkness. The cat plunged into the river and then came up gasping for air. Coming towards it was a great black something, swimming closer every second. The cat started to swim away and try to get to shore but the current was pulling him along and the great black thing was getting closer and closer. As he struggled and splashed along he soon found him self coming to a waterfall! Then the cat saw a big rock that he could jump on but he had to get closer to it and he didn't have much time to get there before the big black thing was right next to him. After he kept on trying to fight the currant the cat jumped on the rock. He did a big sigh of relief. Then the cat noticed that the rock was in the middle of the river and there was no way to get on land before the big black thing was right next to him! Suddenly the cat woke up. He was still in the bag, and it had all been a dream! He quickly started scratching and hissing again, knowing his life was in danger. You can copy this to your entry when you get tagged. Louisa and grandpa went back to Chile monday night... these past few days have been so boring... well, except for the fact that school is FINALLY OUT!!!!!!!!! it's been boring. It's so hot here, I'm sweating pretty bad... Even with the fan turned on to- oh. Um, I guess I might want to turn it up to high. :) ANYway, I've been working on some stuff for my hope chest. I'm almost finished with some pillowcases I've been embroidering, and I'm working on crocheting some dishrags as well, since there's nothing else to do.... I'm really excited about John and his note, but I don't know what to say back. Apparently John made the mistake of letting my brothers see the note before he gave it to me. Ugh. Jeremy has been teasing me mercilessly, and Jarrod just smiles at me like he knows this huge secret. I wish they would just leave me alone sometimes. Jeremy and Jarrod have been on their worst behaivior this week. I have a "cousin" from Chile who arrived Sunday, and she's been extremely helpful in averting their mischeif.. and creating our own. Her name is Louisa and she's fifteen... actually she's not related to me, she's my grandma's foster child. Grandpa came with her, but Grandma was to weak to fly, so she's still in Chile. Louisa is awesome. We are sharing a room- grandpa gets the couch- and it's like having a twin of my own. We have been pranking Jeremy and Jarrod right back.... Yesterday we taped the ranch bottle opening shut and poked a hole in the side, and when Jarrod tried to squeeze some on his sandwich, it sprayed all over him. I think my mom laughed the hardest! We also pulled a "parent trap" prank and poured honey in their hair, whipped cream all around their beds, and string all over the place. Just in time for Jeremy's "hot date" with another neighborhood barbie. He was SO Mad... but he called off the date, so our prank was a sucess! jeremy's still mad about that, but Jarrod just laughes it off. most of the time. To tell you the truth, I think he has a crush on Louisa! I think they would be perfect for each other... but because she's in foster care, no one knows how long she'll be with my Grandparents. It's sad. I've taken a great liking to her. Louisa and I have been brainstorming about John. We haven't come up with anything so far.. but John is over right now and we're pretty sure that Jeremy is telling him about what he read. That's the downside to pranking.... uh oh. Ballet is so hard right now, but I'm loving it!!! As clara I have to work really ahrd so I can get all the steps right. MY ballet teacher is helping me, but I'm still really nervous. What doesn't help is that Jarrod has gotten over his sickness- and is making up for lost time. He's hidden my ballet shoes three times in the past four days!!!!I just don't know what do do with him.... Oh, well gotta go... this si a short entry, I'm sorry, but my dad wants on...
