Well, I've been at The Academy for a while, and I LOVE it.

The work is exhausting, but way worth it. I have Ballet Technique on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,  Pointe on Tuesdays, Variation on Tuesdays, and Music on Saturday mornings.

I share a room with a girl named Jessica. We are getting to be pretty good friends, actually.

The dorm building is AMAZING! There'scoin-operated washers and dryers, a kitchen, a library, a computer lab, and two  (TWO!) TV lounges that anyone can use at any time. We have 24 hr adult supervision, and have to sign in/out, plus the cerfew is pretty strict, but otherwise it's really sweet.

We have somethign that's called "Fun Fridays," where we all go to see a broadway musical or a performance done by the NYC Ballet Company, or just go see the sights.

Sometimes we go to soup kitchens, etc, b/c they believe we need to have a "Well rounded education." I enjoy it, actually, but a lot of the girls moan and complain.

There's a program called DANCE here, and it's for our education. we all have to do it- DANCE stands for Diversity, Alcohol & Drug Education, Nutrition & Wellness, Community Service, and Explorations.. fun, i know. Oh, the Alcohol & Drug Ed is the worst! We get lectured by a bald guy on the evils of that sort of stuff and how we can ruin our careers as dancers by drinking. I mean, it's good that they're doing that, but why does the guy ahve to be so FREAKING BORING!?!?!?! lol

There's so much more, but it's cerfew, and i gotta get up to my dorm. So I'll recognise that I was awarded:

p.s- my mom is in her fifth month and getting bigger! John emails me every day, Jeremy is now in college, Aliyah and Andrew have actually been gettign along lately, and Jarrod has a band! Life is good!

Hi! How have you been? I have been good! Have you been busy lately? I sure have! I have been in a bunch of dress rehearsals and shows of a musical I was in.
